I'm moving to natural products and I replaced my salon grade shampoo with acure lemongrass. The scent is spot on-- if you've eaten lemongrass this is what it smells like. No artificial, perfume scents. Very herby with a hint of berry. This shampoo lathers well. I have thick straight hair and lather is essential. I wash my hair everyday, and this shampoo cleans thoroughly without harshness. Now I want try all acure shampoos.

This is the best organic/natural shampoo I've ever used and I've used a lot of them! It lathers well (but not as much as a sulfate-based shampoo would) and leaves my hair clean, shiny and soft. I have oily roots and dry ends so it's hard for me to find a shampoo that will clean but not strip my hair. This one does the job perfectly. The smell is a bit different than I'm used to but it's grown on me. I don't think there is a better organic/natural shampoo on the market. The accompanying conditioner and leave-in conditioner are just as great as the shampoo.

Great shampoo and conditioner. After reading many reviews I decided to purchase this product. It has no harsh chemicals and still lathers and gives great results. Wish the scent was a bit stronger but otherwise really great!

I have super short hair. I've tried to ditch beauty products with bad-for-me ingredients & I really like this shampoo. I love Acure's ingredients and the fact that they are Fair Trade Certified. I've also tried the Pure Mint + Echinacea Stem Cell, but this one smells much better. The Pure Mint + Echinacea Stem Cell has a vaguely medicinal smell which takes some getting used to.

This is a very good shampoo in terms of cleaning without drying or leaving a residue -- my hair is softer and smoother after use, no question.

Scent is such an individual thing, though, and to me the smell calls to mind an old-time barber shop. A bit of nice citrus, but secondarily has a medicinal-herbal quality that makes me wrinkle my nose every time. So I cut it just a bit with a very lemony but weak shampoo, and the scent is nicer w/o sacrificing the good qualities.

This is the most amazing organic shampoo I have found. It cleaned my hair without drying it out in any way. My hair came out touchably soft and shiny.
