This was a spare. I wear one of these on each knee every workday (I work in a nursing home)to support my achy knees and help prevent injury. I have worn out about 4 so far. They are easy to put on and comfortable for long hours of wear except for the whole being made from neoprene problem, which used to give me a horrible allergic eczema rash. Wash it in mild soap (like Ivory) before you wear it-not only will it help wash off some of the allergens, you never know who tried on the brace before you got it and what type of contagious skin infection they might have had. Continue to wash it on a regular basis-your knee will sweat and it will get pretty rank if you don't. Dust your knee with a medicated anti-itch powder before putting the brace on, and use corizone 10 eczema cream and/or calendula cream on any rash/eczema. It helps--I don't get the rash anymore. Bottom line, if you have bad knees, you need one (or 2) of these.

Put foot through comfort fit sleeve to hold brace in place.
Pull brace up and align patella opening over kneecap. ACE logo should be on top of kneecap.
Fasten upper and lower straps to desired compression level. Adjust straps as needed.

To use without comfort fit sleeve

4. Do no put foot through comfort fit sleeve. Align patella opening with comfort fit sleeve over kneecap and follow step 3.

Care instructions: Close fasteners prior to washing. Hand wash with mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and air dry.
