Opened this and cleaned it and gave my son the cup right away. it is a little harder to suck than the cheaper cups but as soon as my son got the hang of it. He has not let this cup out of his sight. it does touch the floor sometimes but the best part of it is that it is virtually spill proof. best spill proof cup I have ever bought. if you fill it to far up it will leak just a tiny bit. i fill his to the 8 ounce and it doesnt spill. he has thrown it no leaks and he has had red juice for his first time ever because i am not worried one bit about it getting on my white couch. He also drank milk out of it and he has not wanted milk since he was 12 months old. but he loves it so much. totally worth it

When I saw this straw cup on sale, I know I gotta get it since it looks so cute and I love the idea how when the cup topple over, the straw will not touch the table/floor. However, when I get the cup, what a disappointment it is! The cup does look cute but it's very big and round for my 9 months old to hold onto. And, the straw definitely touches whatever surface when it topples down or fall on the floor! Too bad I have not tested it before I give it to my baby otherwise I would have returned it. Now, I just got stuck with this useless cup, that at best, is now a 'ball' for my baby to play with.
