This product is inexpensive for a dry shampoo (most are around $20). I have long dirty blonde hair (fine yet full), and this product added a lot of weight and residue (felt sort of like soap residue). I wasn't able to wear my hair down after using this, but it absorbed enough oil and added enough texture to my hair to tease it and create a decent updo.

It's funny that the 'most liked negative review' recommends Suave dry shampoo in place of this one, when they are the exact same formula and both are made by Unilever. They just have a different scent and brand packaging. This dry shampoo works great for me. I use it about every other day, sometimes every 3rd day, mostly to keep my side bangs from looking greasy and separating. Sometimes I spray around my roots for added volume after sleeping on my hair. It also has a nice, fresh scent. It does leave a white cast if you spray a lot, but after rubbing in and brushing out, it's barely noticeable.

I had high hopes for this product. It worked for a few hours and then my hair began to droop. But that's not my complaint...it was the scent. So so strong! Not good if you'd already applied your perfume. I was gagging just being around myself. My husband gave the strong scent a thumbs down. If you like stong scents - then you might like it. The scent overpowered us for many HOURS - long after the product stopped working. Wish it volumized for that long too. I gave it to my adult daughter..but she had the same issue with the scent.

This is a good product. It does the job and smells good, but i find it runs out quicker that i would expect. I do have a lot of hair so maybe i have to use more than the average person?

I was surprised to see this product did not receive rave reviews. I have found this to be the only dry shampoo that makes my hair look freshly washed. It adds so much volume and lasts all day. I have tried a few other dry shampoos and none work as well as this one.

I use it at the roots of my hair on the second or third day after I shampoo. My hair is oily at the roots but dry at the ends and I don't want to shampoo more often than I have to. When I spray the Dove Dry Shampoo I can go go longer in between shampoos and and it is helping the condition of my hair. It works great and smells really good to me. I will be buying more.

I use this product to extend the amount of time before I have to wash my hair, after having my very kinky curly hair blown out straight. Use a comb to lift hair and lightly spray sections near roots area. Let it sit a minute or two and shake out excess.

I was hoping that this dry shampoo would absorb oil well and help my hair feel a little cleaner, but it only made my hair oilier looking and feeling dirty by the end of the day. It smells good, but it's a terrible product in my opinion... Won't ever buy again.

Smells nice and flower-y but it doesn't work! I have blonde oily hair and it really doesn't tone down the oil at all, the problem is it tries to eliminate that white residue or whatever, the thing is though that's what makes it work!
