This is by far my favorite hairspray at the moment. It's definitely a "flexible" hold spray, whereas most "flexible" hold sprays I have tried are still much too stiff for my preference. I suppose there is a scent to this product, but I actually enjoy it, and I don't find it to be overpowering.

If you are looking for a true flexible hold hairspray and find others to be too stiff, give this product a try.

I HAVE USED THIS PRODUCT FOR SOMETIME. THE LAST 2 OR 3 BOTTLES OF THIS....AFTER USING A COUPLE TIMES, DOES NOT WORK. THE SPRAY NOZZLE SEEMS LIKE IT'S PLUGGED. YOU SPRAY IT AND NOTHING COMES OUT EXCEPT THE SOUND OF GURGLING AND FOAM/STUFF RUNS OUT THE BOTTOM OF THE NOZZLE WHERE THE NOZZLE CONNECTS TO THE BOTTLE . I'VE TRIED TAKING THE NOZZLE OFF AND RUNNING IT UNDER HOT WATER AND NOTHING. ALSO TRIED PRESSING A PIN IN THE NOZZLE HOLE TO OPEN AND NOTHING. A COUPLE OF BOTTLES AGO, I CALLED DOVE AND TOLD THEM THIS AND WAS SENT A FREE COUPON FOR A NEW BOTTLE AND THAT BOTTLE DID THE SAME THING! WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT? IS THE FORMULA TOO THICK TO GET THROUGH THE NOZZLE NOW OR WHAT? I'M TIRED OF CALLING THEIR 800 NUMBER TO COMPLAIN! JUST FIX IT!!!!!

I love this hairspray. It truly does have a "flexible" hold, unlike many other brands labeled as such. On a day-to-day basis, I don't want a hairspray that makes my hair feel "crunchy" or gives me "helmet head" and this product is great for that. I get some control over my flyaways, and it helps keep my bangs in place. I've tried other brands labeled "flexible" or "light hold" and find they are still too stiff and strong for what I need just for everyday use.
And, I guess after reading the comments, I would agree that the product has a strong scent when it is first sprayed, but it smells great to me and, while I will catch an occasional whiff of it throughout the day, it's no stronger than what I might smell from my shampoo or another beauty product.

I have used Dove products for years, since I have sensitive skin. I can't believe that they take a product for sensitive skin and perfume the heck out of it! I personally don't mind the odor, but it permeates and is way too strong.
It also doesn't hold worth a darn!
I'm looking for a new hair spray!!!

If you're reading this, don't but it! This is the worst. In like 1 hour you're hair feels without protection. It leaves it frizzy. Has an awful smell too. Never buying this again, it gets my hair super tangled. Ugh, so dissapointed.

To be honest I barely bought this item yesterday and what really brought me down was the awful smell. Probably going to use it today, hopefully it works. I'll write back to say my real review.

I have short fine hair and use a volume shampoo. This spray seems to weigh my hair down and make it somewhat limp and dry.
The previous formula was great! Should never have changed it.
Now I have to find something else, really annoying and frustrating.

I am also super disappointed. It's obvious they have changed the original formula in the past 6 mos. I originally borrowed this from a friend and have been buying it ever since. This most recent bottle has left my hair super, super greasy and doesn't even "hold" my hair at all (even "flexibly") such a let down. It's always nice when you find something that works; Dove please go back to original formula!

I bought this thinking it would be great since I have used dove products in the past and liked them. This is terrible hair-spray, it is a VERY fine mist which is ok but as the clouds of product make you cough and gag you realize you now smell like an old lady. The smell of this product reeks like terrible perfume. Not cool.

I used the old Dove Flexible Hold Hairspray for years and loved it! This, however, is horrible. It made my hair sticky and sapped all the shine from it. My hair felt incredibly dirty and dry and it smelled horrible. I can't believe they put this on the market! This is definitely the worst hairspray I've ever used.
