I bought this product to take on an extended trip abroad because I didn't like the washing detergent from my last trip abroad. This will pack easily and should do the trick. I love the Tide brand and would have given this top ratings if I had done this reveiw following the trip

Have a front loader washer. They don't dissolve properly. Found bluish residue on my white jacket. Had to rewash it with regular tide. Never again will I waste money on these.. Horrible product.. Smell awful also

Only use 1 Pod per load--even large loads. I have a toddler and we all know how messy they can be. Even, with her clothes, only one pod is needed. The scent is strong even with only 1 pod. Most cost effective detergent I've used to date.

I love my dishwashwer capsules so I have been eager to try the Tide Pods. I read some negative reviews where people complained about the pods not dissolving so I made sure to add them as I started the water then added the clothes, and so far I have had no issues. I have done about 6 loads of laundry with these and I am pleased. I do, however, use two pods per load because I have toddlers that eat spaghetti, play in the dirt, and it says right on the directions "for heavily soiled clothing use two." I'm not sure how much cost savings it will be if I have to use two pods every time, but it's so nice to not have to measure, spill, etc. I have not noticed that it works better than regular Tide (ie: spaghetti sauce requires a spraying of stain remover first.) but it definitely works as well as the detergent I had been using.
