Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Pressed Powder SPF 30, Translucent, .26 oz: I am very fair, in my 60's with almost no wrinkles, and I've been enjoying makeup for 50 years. I have this in Translucent. This is such a beautiful finishing powder. You can hardly see it while you're applying it but then you'll notice that your face had a lovely smooth glow: not powdery but not glittery or shiny. I use it over tinted moisturizer which usually also has SPF and I'm good for a casual day. This also helps take away an overpowdered look if you've gotten carried away with other powdered foundation. I will buy this forever.

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Pressed Powder SPF 30, Translucent, .26 oz: It is a beauty as a finishing powder. This is NOT a foundation - don't expect coverage though it gives some. It has the most subtle glow and product is comparable to expensive brands in quality. Has no smell, doesn't cake up (and I work 9-6), doesn't look unnatural. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (2 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Pressed Powder SPF 30, Translucent, .26 oz: I sometimes get bumps on my face which I tend to pick at (though I know I shouldn't), resulting in red or scabbed spots. These imperfections are then very noticeable because I have pale skin. The "Physicians formula mineral wear translucent" is about the only product I have found that most closely matches my pale skin tone, and reduces the visibility of any skin blemishes down to almost zero. There is added benefit that it has 30 spf, and generally can be worn all day as it feels light/breathable and does not seem to rub off much (as long as you don't rub your face on everything). It is relatively easy to apply with the included brush, decent coverage can be achieved with a smooth finish, and can somewhat layer the applications as needed. Only thing to keep in mind is that as with most powders, it can be a bit messy and "dusty" but that's easy, just pat/dust the powder off if it gets on your clothes, since it generally won't stain clothes like liquid/creme concealers do. Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Pressed Powder SPF 30, Translucent, .26 oz: I purchased the translucent shade - I'm not much for color with powders. I also do not wear foundation or coverup so the powder product is all I prefer to use. I found that the brush included with the product was challenging to use - It felt like it was scrapping my face during application - so I switched it out for a brush with more fibers and rounded shape - the kabuki airbrushing one by physician's formula works great even though this is a pressed powder. I didn't apply much (*which I tend not to do anyhow as I prefer lighter coverage) - I didn't see the caking problems, or settling into creases that may come with applying more than one layer or such. I wore it for 8 hours before removing, so I can only speak for that, but it lasted. I noticed the package said 16 hours, but I hardly wear any of my powder for that length of time. I think it had great coverage for me - if I applied more, sometimes, the translucent can give an unnatural look or over powdered effect - as I've noticed from past ventures in applying powders. However, less is better - I want my skin to 'breathe' but still have some coverage with makeup. I think this product also made my skin feel smooth / soft after application. My skin tends on the oily side in spots - it seemed fine in controlling that, but for myself, mineral makeup does that part. No significant issues on my end, with this product, except the brush. Best Uses Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Pressed Powder SPF 30, Translucent, .26 oz: I believe in having an arsenal of products when it comes to sun protection, and was excited to try the reformulated product. It now has an SPF of 30, and is paraben free, two huge bonuses. However, I find it oxidises on my face, and leaves me looking a little orange, especially in areas where I build it up for coverage. It also easily rubs off on clothes, tissues, napkins, seriously impairing it's coverage ability. I also wouldn't rely on this powder alone for shine control, but I find that true of most mineral powders. Mine also broke in the compact, but I reformed it by mixing it with alcohol and pressing it back into the tin. High SPF is all this product has going for it. Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Pressed Powder SPF 30, Translucent, .26 oz: I am a huge hippe and always looking for products that are free of Talc, Parabens, and other bad chemicals. Because this still has some harsh chemicals I only use it when I go out (I use an all natural one on a day to day basis from 100% Pure). Of course the chemicals make the makeup stay longer which is why I use it to go out and not my all natural one, but it looks great :D The case is so bright and reminds me of the beach <3 It does not help with my shine at all, but it looks smashing when I have my shine under control with blotting papers. I would buy this again :) Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (2 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Pressed Powder SPF 30, Translucent, .26 oz: Like the previous reviewer (FairLady), my compact also arrived with, pardon the pun, cosmetic issues. Though shipping "air bags" were used, they were placed only in the top of the package. No bubble wrap was used, so the compact was just rattling around at the bottom of the box. Consequently, by the time it got to me, the powder had separated from the compact and now slides around the indentation whenever I try to use it. However, the product came in all broken and all the powder leaks so no way to carry it the purse. It's hard even to use at home as it's all broken. Total waste of money. Very disappointed.
