The only reason this didn't get five stars is the price. Otherwise, the best fabric softener, in my opinion, among the choices in my local health food store. It's also the most expensive.

Because this is a thick liquid, if you have an automatic fabric softener dispenser with a small outlet, this will clog it. I ended up having to manually add the fabric softener to the final rinse cycle because of this.

Further, it doesn't do a very good job of eliminating static.

I love these products, even walking by a house where laundry is being done often bothers my lungs - some fabric softeners and detergents seem so harsh with their chemical fragrances - these products are gentle on my skin, and don't bother my skin as many regular products do - and are pleasant to be around.

I have very sensitive and allergy prone skin and just switched to this softener. I've been using it for a couple weeks and haven't had any reactions at all. While the consistency is not what I'm used to with other softeners in that it is not thick and has the consistency of water, it is still very effective in softening my clothes and linens.

Highly recommended for those who have sensitive/allergy prone skin, truly fragrance free. Gave 4 stars only because of the looser consistency which makes you have to use a little more than usual.

I appreciate the fact that this fabric softener is made from natural ingredients. It works great, leaving clothes static free and soft. The lack of fragrance is great for anyone sensitive to scents!

I love 7th Generation, but I am disappointed in this fabric softener. It doesn't do a very good job or reducing static. Too bad, because it is ordorless, and it does add softness.

I've used this before and love seventh gen laundry products. I do not like strong smells in my laundry so this unscented softener works perfect when I want to use their lavender eucalyptus detergent. I have very hard water, this gets the job done! I have ordered this online from other vendors & have had no problems with the pkging but this order came with softener all over everything! Although wrapped in some plastics, the lid was not screwed on tightly so it leaked the whole way! So the "hard to clean" comment refers to trying to wipe softener off anything else, it's slippery & slimey but of course it's supposed to be.
