I wanted to get a decently priced starter kit of brushes, especially to apply foundation, and I'd seen very good reviews of these brushes here, YouTube, and other makeup websites. I have to say that my purchase was worth it and I am loving these new brushes.
I would say the best brush out of the four (and the reason I bought this package) is the buffing brush. I usually use it to apply cream foundation and the results are excellent. I have oily acne-prone skin with lots of hyper-pigmentation and scars and this brush gives me a nice, smooth application and very good coverage. The bristles are very soft and they make the foundation go on very smoothly. I'm really loving it. I use the contour brush to apply blush as it is small and I like blush brushes that are small and let me be detailed where my blush goes on (not huge ones). The pointed foundation brush I use for concealer (when needed) as it is very small to put on foundation. The detailer brush says it's for concealers or lipstick but I have actually used it as an additional eye shadow brush, especially to add deeper colors on the crease (I have small eyes) and for more detail work on the eyes. I find these brushes very versatile as they are synthetic and I can use them with any type of product. If in doubt, the makers of these brushes have tutorials on their website.
I've only washed them once and they do not shed and I don't expect them to from what I've read from other reviews. Still looking for a good cleanser that is not too expensive and allows me not to wet the brushes to wash them. I also find the case very useful for putting my brushes upside down to dry after washing them. I use it to put them upside down so that the water does not get into the head of the brushes.
Overall, great brushes at a very good price.

These brushes are smaller than they appear on the website. I love how soft they and they are very easy to clean. However, they are not phenomenal brushes. It takes a few tries to figure out how to properly apply product with them and since they are small, I spend a lot of time buffing. They are great for a beginner but I much prefer the individual Real technique brushes.

Love it! It's really soft and delicate for my skin, I use every day on the morning, the only one cons: it's shorter than single brushes by Real Techniques, however is the same quality.

These are the best choice for rushes I have used. Great value they work really well. I wish they came individually, because I don't use all of them at this time. But the quality is really good.

I bought the set for myself and for my niece... This is the softest brush set that I ever had. It is easy to use, easy to clean, affordable (I got it with extra discount) , the container keeps the brushes intact... I love using it with my mineral makeups.

So excited that these are full size brushes! I thought they would be half size or "travel" size but wanted to try them anyway due to many good reviews here & at other sites. I'm going to order the eye set now & hope they will be just as great!

Yes yes all day yes just buy them. Soft, amazing quality. I use them every day, chuck them in my purse, carry them everywhere, without that bag thing and they haven't shed a bristle. my best friends
