Just long enough but not too long. Curve makes it easy to manipulate around the shower and body. The handle has really cool rubber flanges on it that make it easy to grip even with soap. Handle flexes but you would have to abuse it to break it. Bristles are just stiff enough to do the job but not do damage.

At the time I purchased this brush, there was only one review. . . and it was negative. Honestly, I'm not sure that the review is for the same brush, because the person wrote about "rounds" on the back of the head. There are no "rounds" on the back of the head. It's flat.

This brush is WONDERFUL! It's SOFT. I don't know that I've ever felt a synthetic brush like this that was as soft. Everything about it is great. . . The length. . . the size. . . the comfortable handle. . . and did I mention that it's SOFT? With a current price of under five bucks, you really can't beat it. I wanted a synthetic brush, because it doesn't have "germ issues" like with a natural brush.

PLEASE NOTE: You will not necessarily receive a brush the same color as in the picture. The one I received was sea foam green. That's not an issue for me. . . but if color is an issue for you. . . then it's something to consider.

Maybe my body skin is too sensitive (for a guy), but using this brush on anything but feet felt like I am using sandpaper. I did not find any use for the plastic "rounds" on the back of the head. If you have thick skin, this is for you. Also, this is perfect on feet - gives them a good scratch.
