This sleep mask is very soft, lightweight and breathable. If you find others to be too heavy and uncomfortable for you, I'd recommend it. I, however, suffer from migraines and even a tiny sliver of light is very uncomfortable when I'm having one. This mask doesn't fit quite close enough to my face under my eyes as my other one (by Earth Therapeutics) and lets a tiny bit of light in. It's not terrible and I'll still use it in a pinch, but it's not my preferred sleep mask.

I was so excited to use a more breathable eye mask than the satin ones I usually use. The eye mask itself is great—soft, breathable, good quality. However, the strap could really have been designed better. First of all, it is SO thick! To have the eye mask cover my eyes, I'd have to wear the strap over my ears, which is not comfortable. When I put the strap just up above my ears, the eye mask slips up a bit and I can see out the bottom of it. And most disconcertingly, the strap has velcro on it. So, when I adjusted it to fit my head comfortably, the scratchy velcro sticking out totally snagged my satin pillowcase up and I had to throw it out. I decided to turn the eye mask the other way around, but now the velcro is scratching my hair—I'm not sure if it's damaging my hair, but if it damaged my pillowcase, that's a possibility.

If this eye mask had a thin, adjustable strap that did not involve velcro, I'd totally love the heck out of it. However, as it is, I'm so excited to get my new satin eye mask I just ordered and throw this one away.

I have gone through many different sleeping masks and this is my preference. This bamboo mask is soft to the touch yes is cool and doesn't cause you to sweat during the night. This is especially important during the warmer months.The only cons is that the elastic does wear out after 4 to 6 weeks, which makes this have to be a frequently replaceable product. But for the price, [$] a month to help me sleep seems worth it.
