I have medium-coarse, wavy asian hair. My hair is prone to frizz, and though I have an oily scalp, I my tresses can look dry due to its wavy/frizzy look. In a conditioner, I am looking for softening effect. Smoothing and detangling is a plus but not my #1 priority. I haven't noticed my hair being softer or shinier after use. It smells weird but it's a light (medicinal) scent, so I guess it's not very offensive. Though my hair is not in need of detangling, the product really doesn't detangle that great. Usually I love PM products but this one was a disappointment.
