I never write reviews but just had to write one for this because it was THAT bag. I purchased this after seeing all the positive reviews on YouTube. Did not live up to the hype. Tattoo my foot. The color doesn't last a few hours and CREASES horribly. I do not have oily eyelids and usually don't even need to wear a primer. I tried wearing this with a primer and without. Tried applying with finger and with a brush. Nothing made it better. Nothing. Don't waste your time or money on this.

these are excellent. I have tenacious teal, painted purple, inked in pink, silver strike, barely branded and tough as taupe. they are very pretty. but, at a cheer competition, the glass jar on silver strike broke

I had read that this particular shade of eyeshadow worked great on brows. I had a small, flat-sided brush that I dipped in the eyeshadow and then filled in my dark-brown brows. I used the tiniest amount and it worked like a charm! Stays put all day and night - looks natural, doesn't smudge, and very easy to apply. Add a bit more product for eyebrow intensity at night. My eyebrow pencil is now history!

At first I was unsure about the color. Tough as Taupe is definitely more grey taupe than brown taupe. But, after some trial and error, I made it work for me. However, I wanted this to be a quick swipe and go product. It is not. It's a difficult product to blend and aside from that it creased so horribly. At the end of the day I had zero color left on my lids and horrible lines in my crease. I'll try it again with a powder eyeshadow to set, but I'm still disappointed that I can't just use it on it's own.

You know what, who says you have to use this as an eyeshadow? I bought two colors in this, Bold Gold and Tough as Taupe. I use this as a natural eyeliner, it gives you that no make-up look, but it definitely makes a difference, especially if this is the only thing you wear on your eyes. Also I use this on my brows, very natural. I like this better than my brow pencil/powder/gel. After I use this on my brows, I apply mascara on my brows for more fuller brow or just this for natural brows. BTW, I'm Asian,I have gray-brown brows and it's hard to find brow pencils in that color and this does it. I love the fact that this isn't glittery and shimmer which is a bonus~

Horrible. The taupe is so dark it's more of a charcoal, dark gray. There is absolutely no shimmer to it, so it looks like a slap of dark gray on your eyelids. And on top of that, it creases horribly. I'll stick to my makeup forever pots.

With a name like "Color Tattoo", I had high hopes for a simple neutral shadow that I could just swipe on and go when I don't have time for the 3-to-5-color-shadow-liner routine. This eye shadow creases, even when I use a primer. And it seems to disappear after a short time. It's a nice color, but the product just doesn't perform. Fortunately it wasn't a lot of money.

Very easy to blend, very natural-looking color. I blend this one with the Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk to bring out the green in my hazel eyes. This product is comparable to high-end department store brands without the hefty price tag.

This color is great for brows, shadow and eyeliner!! It's the product I've searched for for years! Especially for travel--one product that could do it all. I have brown eyes, fair skin and blonde-streaked light brown hair with a little gray. This color looks great. I use a slanted brow brush, a short blunt liner brush, and my finger for shadow. It works great.

I have NEVER been able to find an eye shadow that lasted this long. With this, I have no creasing that I have to touch up during the day. I LOVE it!! I am 49, have combination skin and have hot flashes. So any eye makeup that can make it through that, I will take the time to rate so others know how great it is!
