I used to be a huge fan of this product. It seemed to melt away dead skin cells and leave my skin fresh and ready for makeup. Apparently, they went and changed the formula, because now I would liken this product to spreading butter on your face. When I use it, if feels oppressive and greasy. I actually have to wash my face with cleanser after using it. If I wanted to work that hard and save money to boot, I'd just use a stick of butter. Also, I bought my last one from drugstore.com because they show a picture of the old tube. I thought I had finally found a source for the old formula! Nope, what I received was the new jar, even though the site showed the old product. Disappointing.

I had purchased ZIA'S papaya enzyme peel since 1992- but hadn't purchased it in a few years...then I just recieved some from my mom as a gift, and tried it again (I was THRILLED with the results prior)- and I actually broke out with several cystic pimples.... I called Zia to see if they had reformulated it and YES, they HAVE... to get rid of the PARABENs, they've changed the formulation...and ADDED beeswax....cosmetic-grade beeswax should not clog pores, or cause any skin irritation...but I think my skin reacted to it. so I now wash my face with my regular cleanser after using this product...to remove the emollient layer of beeswax. Seems to do the trick, so far.

I use this mask for deep moisterizing treatment on a weekly basis. I can leave it on for an hour for maximum results. It feels great and smells nice too. I think it helps reduce fine lines.

Does everything it says it does. Well worth the investment.

I have been using this product on a semi-weekly basis for about 6 months. I have been very happy with the results as it seems to tighten and leave my skin with a nice glow. It is a little expensive so I only use it about twice a week and special occasions. If it were a lower price I think you could use daily. I also have some small sun spots that seem to have faded over the past 6 months so I think this product has made a difference. I think it has a pleasant scent and I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

I saw so many positive reviews and really love the Zia Citrus Night Time Renewal, so I thought I would give this a try. Along with another reviewer who had a bad experience with this, I never once had cystic acne before. A few days after using this product one time and not changing any of my other skin care routine, I have a terrible (and painful) cystic acne breakout all over my face. I would give this product a zero if I could.

This was a very, very mild exfoliation. It just wasn't strong enough for me. My skin never looked or felt much different after I used it.

This product is WONDERFUL. You don't need very much of it, so it lasts a long time. it's important to follow the directions... don't leave it on too long the first few times, especially if you have sensitive skin. My husband, who notices NOTHING (LOL) always comments on my skin after I use this. I would give this product 6+ stars, except I really don't like the new packaging. With the old wide-mouth jar, I could get every last bit of it out... not so with the tube! Other than that, GREAT product.
