These are, by far, my favorite razors. They have pivoting, disposable heads -- so you're not throwing away an entire razor after just a shave or two -- and they're not as expensive or as bulky as products in the Venus line. The replacement heads stay neatly together with interlocking covers that can easily be separated (while still keeping the blade covered) to throw into a bag for travel.

The pivoting head cuts down dramatically on nicks and cuts, and the small profile means I have less trouble shaving awkward spots.

i decided to switch from venus gillette to something else and got this. well, you get what you paid for. after the 1st use ihave irritated skin all over shaved surface and there are some missed hairs. what takes one movement of venus requires 3-4 of soleil.

The Bic Soleil Savvy Razor comes with a disposable handle and four refillable cartridges.  The cartridges are not available by themselves, so you need to buy a new package when you are done with the cartridges. The disposable handle has a good grip which minimizes accidental cuts.  Each cartridge has three blades that will provide you with a close shave. Most cheap razors have one or two blades which doesn't get all the stubble in one pass. My legs and underarms feel incredibly smooth after using this razor. Each cartridge has a lubricating strip but I find using shaving cream/body wash gives me a better shave. The cartridge refills make it economical as well as eco-friendly.
