This works great to add volume to your crown. I've been growing out a pixie cut and finding it less effective as my hair grows out into a bob. My hair is curly and I put it in a bandana a la Rosie the Riveter or I Love Lucy and I use this to get volume in my fine curls. Unless your hair is real oily, I wouldn't think using this daily would be good. I use it on days I don't shampoo (I shampoo every 2-3 days) and am happy with it. It is messy and gets everywhere and hard to tell how much is left in the bottle though.

I never leave reviews for any products, but this product is very good to add volumn to thin hair. If you wear your hair in a short spikey style, it works great! It is easy to use, a very light powder - just sprinkle a little in your hand,rub your hands together and then rub your hands on your hair roots. Lately the stores where I buy this product have been sold out. I was in a panic. Also very inexpensive!

So I looked up tutorials for using this product, including ones that were filmed by Got2b, so I know I used it right. And it WAS easy to use, and it DID look good. For a couple hours. Then my roots (where the powder was applied) started looking oily and gross. While I only used it on freshly washed hair, my hair is naturally oily. I think maybe the nature of this powder really soaks that up.

As much as I love big hair, this just isn't practical for oily-haired people for more more than a couple hours. You'll have to stick to teasing. I would still recommend it to people who have dry hair, though!

The packaging is cool and exciting; the price is great. I even believe this added some volume to my very thick hair. However, it left my hair with a weird, gross texture which is unacceptable to me. I feel like I can't run my hand through the hair near my roots because it feels that gross. I am quite frugal but I will not be using up this product even though I paid for it because it is that bad.

I really can't tell if this product works or not. I noticed a small lift at the roots and it would be nice if that's all it did, but it left my hair frizzy, greasy looking, and sticky. I've tried it twice. Once putting it on my hands and runnning it through my hair and once applying directly to the roots. Both times my hair came out pretty disgusting. Don't think I will be using this again.

This stuff is da bomb! I have used BigSexyHair Powder Play many times and this stuff is better for a fraction of the cost! Make sure your hair is dry before putting on or it will clump together and get stiff feeling. I put it in my hands, rub together and put in my hair. Also, I pull my hair up and put a little right on my roots where I want volume. The scent is a bit funky but worth it!
