I got a free sample of this, and with the bottle closed, it smells so strongly I had to put it outside. I can't imagine using it on my head. It's not a nice smell either.

I definitely don't think this product is for everyone. When I started using it, my hair felt super soft, shiny, and healthy. This was temporary, however, I think because of simply switching to a new shampoo.

It's been a month, and my dandruff has worsened considerably (even though I've used Head and Shoulders before, which has the same active ingredient). I'm also seeing a frightening amount of hair in the drain. Asking around, some of my friends who have tried this also report similar problems. Even my boyfriend, who uses it off and off when he stays over, is having the same problems. In investigating the ingredients, it turns out this shampoo contains a TON of irritants listed much higher up in the ingredient list than other mainstream shampoos: SLS, cocomidobpropyl betaine, etc. Head and Shoulders at least is pH balanced, and I never had a problem with it or any other shampoo before!

Try this at your own risk, especially if you are sensitive to beauty products!!

i use this once sometimes twice a week. has a good smell to it. used it on my 11 yr old granddaughter as her scalp was dry. it worked well for her also. very good product as it seems to be gentle on my salon colored hair

I've used a variety of shampoos to combat dry and itchy scalp. Clear Scalp and Hair Therapy is the only one that really works in reducing itch and still leaves my hair soft and shiny. The only place I can find it is at drugstore.com.

I started having itchy scalp about a year ago right after my menopause started. I figured it was a hormonal imbalance of some sort and hoped it would go away on its own. After a year of scratching away (especially at night in bed) I decided to go to a dermatologist. She recommended this shampoo as well as the T-gel shampoo. I decided to give the Clear Shampoo a try first. It immediately worked after my first shampoo and I was no longer itchy at all. Amazing. My hair was also very soft and manageable. I highly recommend this.

i've tried a few dandruff shampoos that haven't really worked. clear seems to control the dandruff & itching from what i now believe is really psoriasis. it's also white in color, which is important to me as i have gray hair & can't use any products that are yellow/orange etc.

It took about 5 weeks of applying this shampoo two to three times weekly to notice great improvement, but it was worth the wait to finally have a flake-free scalp. I love the scent and it's a pleasure to use as it lathers just the way I like. Like the first reviewer, I've tried all those shampoos she listed and also a medicated one from the dermatologist and a few imported from France, which were extortionate and seemed to either offer little relief or irritated my scalp further. I will buy this one again.

I have used Head and Shoulders, Nizoral, T-Sal, Paul Mitchell Tea Tree, Selsum Blue,Sauve, and Biolage but this is the only product that has cleared up my dandruff. My scalp gets incredibly dry and peels and this has calmed it down and removed all traces of dandruff, I cannot recommend it enough.
