Amazing blender, and 1/10th the price of the vitamix! Consumer reports gave the ninja the same top rating. This blender is amazing. So easy to use, and it effortlessly blends carrots, spinach, etc into fruit smoothies. It just liquifies everything.
One downside- you can't add anything while blending. Not a big deal though.
Blades are SHARP. Crazy crazy sharp. A little hard to clean if you're doing it by hand, but they're also dishwasher safe.

I really enjoyed using this product. Mixes everything up quickly. You do have to be careful of the very sharp blades.

With most blenders the blades are located at the bottom and the food/ice can form a bridge over the whirling blades. The Ninja has multiple levels of blades and avoids this bridging effect. Ice is crushed to the size of snow flakes.
