I've used this product twice. The 1st time I used it, I washed with their clarifying shampoo and then used the cleaning conditioner (the shampoo bottle says U can follow up w/ the conditioner after shampooing). The next time I washed my hair, I used the cleansing conditioner. I noticed that my hair didn't take to the water very much. I ran the water on my hair for a while to wet it, like normal, and it never really got very wet. The hair seemed to repel the water instead of wetting the hair. Has anyone else experienced this? Like another reviewer said, I also noticed that less hair shed in the shower. I don't know if the not absorbing the water is a good thing or not. I'm thinking not, since the hair needs moisture and water is the best moisture for hair. I hope it doesn't eventually cause my hair to dry and break. I already have problems with split ends and fairy knots. I'm African American and I have bra strap length, 3c/4ab, natural hair. I checked Yes to recommend because I had to check Yes or No, but at this time I can't say whether or not I will recommend it.

I love this stuff!! I used it after using the SNF Deep Cleansing shampoo (which I also love!). It has decent slip and smells divine. First, I immediately noticed less shedding in the shower. What sold me is that after my hair air dried without any other product or leave in or conditioner applied, my hair was SOOOO SOFT, shiny, smooth and more manageable. And again, so much less shedding!! My hair was left fortified/much stronger, clean, light and fluffy, not greasy or heavy at all. My coils were poppin!

FYI, my hair is very, very fine, low-medium density and 4 type super COILY. It is also quite porous, and I battle with dryness constantly by layering moistuizing lotions, oils, butters, creams, etc, lol. My goal is length retention as my hair tends to get stressed, break and knot easily. My hair HATES dimethicone, mineral oil, glycerin (when not washed out), and I usually use all natural conditioners. Hope this helps!!! Not every product works for every curly girl :-)

This does not work like "Wen" cleansing conditioner. After shampooing you could use it as a conditioner though. It coats the hair and is hard to rinse out if used primarily as a shampoo. I do like the large jar- just use as a conditioner though.

I use this in place of shampoo and conditioner. I have wavy/curly semi fine hair.. This product works great to cleanse my hair without drying it..
leaves my hair tangle free. Enhances curl and shine very well. I do rinse it out well. It does not take much product either.. My hair is just below my shoulders btw.. I would like it in a larger size is my only negative .

I used this product as a shampoo and conditioner and it left my hair very greasy, waxy, heavy and all around yucky. I would never recommend this product.

I used this like you would use other cleansing conditioner (wen, hair one), but this stuff left my hair and my daughters extremely greasy and limp. It would not rinse out. It was almost like putting hand lotion on your hair. Do not buy this product if you do not have extremely curly hair.
