I'm trying to move away from synthetic materials and toward natural ones. This sponge is a great replacement for the plastic puffs that I used to go through at the rate of a couple a year. I think it will probably last a long time, and it's soft and squishy and lathers well!

Hubby needed something less abrasive than the puff ball plastic type sponges on the market. He likes this one but would have liked it a whole lot more had it been a bit bigger and beefier.

I used it for my newborn baby,it is soft and it is natural, and in this way it is a perfect product, it fell apart after 5 month of use though, but i would buy it again, this sponge is well worth the price

the natural sponge feels extremely soft and luxurious on your skin ,there is nothing like it.
had natural sponges before ,they where somewhat to large, and much more expensive, for the price you cant get anything better, this one is almost perfect

I bought my first real wool sea sponge during a trip to Key West. It lasted for a couple of years and I was hooked. When it finally fell apart, I decided to try this one. It's much smaller than my original, but just as soft and a much nicer product than I can find in my local store. I use it to shower with Vitabath liquid soap. They don't last as long as my original Key West sponge-maybe because they are smaller-but the price is right and it's a product I will continue to buy.

I bought 4 of these sponges (have been using Natural Wool Sponges in the shower for years) - 2 for myself and my husband, and 2 for gifts. These sponges - are extremely soft when wet (almost mushy- no 'body'; AND tear easily.
In my opinion - NOT worth the price! No way can I give these as a gift.

I bought this because it was a natural sea sponge. I was a little put off by the price but it is just so difficult to find bath sponges.

It looked great out of the package, nice and big but oh my when it is wet. I now know why they call it a "wool" sponge. When wet it reduces to a little wad of yuck - much the way wool does when its wet. It's like trying to wash with a cotton ball. Just dreadful.

This might be very nice to use on an infant but for adults - total waste.

I'm not sure why this is called a "Wool" sponge. It is a large REAL sponge from the Oceans. I purchased to apply Max Factor Pan-Cake Water-Activated Makeup, however it is much to big. I gave to my sister who uses it for bathing and absolutely loves it. This does not irritate delicate skin, like real wool does.
