This was a great purchase when the prices were lower. I got it off another site at under $20 for 72 pods (2 packs of 36). But at current prices, you might as well buy Tide, which is still slightly better for cleaning power generally.

Well, these gel packs are easy to use. They remind me of the ones I use in my dishwasher. The reason why I gave it a "needs improvement" is because when I received it, one of the gel pacs inside was already broken (during shipping? manufacturing? who knows) and there was liquid inside the package. Made things quite messy because each gel pack was coated with liquid detergent from the broken one and got all over my hands and generally made a mess. I probably won't purchase these again because I don't want to deal with that.
Dry your hands before handling the UltraPacks – water dissolves the film. Put the packs in the washer before adding clothing (the more time they spend in the water, the faster they dissolve). If you have a front loader, make sure to put the pack directly into the drum, not in the drawer.
