Te serum works well at night. by ceci the experimenter in Middleton, WI on 8/5/09Pros: Absorbs Quickly, Feels fresh, Goes On Smoothly, Moisturizes Well Cons: Pricey, Small bottle for price Describe Yourself: Budget Buyer Best Uses: Bedtime Bottom Line: recommended Seems to work to clarify skin and even out skin/sun spots. It's a small bottle for the price, and I's like to use it longer to see more effects.
A Great Product - My One Beauty Splurge by Beth in Chardon, OH on 6/1/09Pros: Absorbs Quickly, Goes On Smoothly, Long Lasting, Moisturizes Well, Not Greasy, Works Cons: Expensive Describe Yourself: Budget Buyer Best Uses: Bedtime, Deep Moisturization, Everyday Moisturizer, Winter Dryness Bottom Line: recommended I use this product daily in the morning on my face and neck. I am 41 and have been using this for 3+ years. I am budget-conscious and would not normally spend so much for a moisturizer (prior to using this I was a long-time oil of olay user). I use this because it works, my skin looks great for my age (I use their under-eye rescue cream as well) Even though it is very expensive, it seems to last a long time; several months at least. You do not have to use tons. All I can say is I can't do without it, and if I ever forget to put it on in the morning, I notice it right away - my skin 'cries out' for it!
Outstanding sun screen by OJ in Denver, CO on 5/15/09Pros: Absorbs Quickly, Goes On Smoothly, Long Lasting, Not Greasy Describe Yourself: Budget Buyer Best Uses: After Shower/Bath Bottom Line: recommended Excellent sun block product! I have very fair skin and sun burn easily. Since using this product, I avoid sun burn.
I don't get the hype -waste of money by msnyc212 in New York on 4/26/09Pros: Absorbs Quickly, No smell Cons: Doesn't Moisturize, Not Long-Lasting, doesn't work Describe Yourself: Brand Buyer Bottom Line: not recommended I just don't get the hype at all. It actually dries out my skin. It must be one of those products it works on some people, and doesn't work at all for other people - including myself. I suggest that you get a sample first (from Sephora) and try it out and if doesn't work to moisturize your skin with the sample, you probably won't see results at all. I actually did get the sample first but I made the mistake in thinking that the sample was not enough. As I was using the sample, i was thinking that perhaps it's because it's in a sample packet, some of the effect of the cream was gone. I needed my regular moisturizer on top of Kinerase cream. When I bought the whole tube of cream, I was excited to see how different it would be from the sample...but to my disappointment, it was exactly the same as the sample. I have been using the Kinerase cream for about 6 months now and my skin has not improved at all! I need another moisturizer on top of this cream because Kinerase actually dries out my skin. I will use up the whole tube so no one can say "you haven't tried it long enough" and plus I spent over $100, it would be a waste to just throw it out. As a cheap alternative, use CeraVe Moisturizing Cream, it's only $15.
Simply THE Best by Anonymous in Philadelphia, PA on 11/16/08Pros: High Quality Cons: Expensive Bottom Line: recommended I saw a difference within one week of using this product. I have freckles and redness and it smoothed my skin while evening skin tone. It is simply awesome!
Unpleasant scent by smart consumer in Denver, CO on 10/26/08Cons: Bad Smell Describe Yourself: Brand Buyer Best Uses: Deep Moisturization Bottom Line: not recommended I have used this product for many years.[...]. The product that I ordered most recently smelled rancid. The site sent me a replacement and it was from the same lot number and it also smelled rancid. I will either try to find it somewhere else or start using something else.
Cheaper elsewhere by Weez in Tucson, AZ on 10/24/08Pros: Absorbs Quickly, Goes On Smoothly, Long Lasting, Moisturizes Well Cons: Price wrong at this site Describe Yourself: Brand Buyer Best Uses: Deep Moisturization, Winter Dryness Bottom Line: not recommended The price at this site is higher than buying either direct from the manufacturer, or from Sephora. The cream is the best I've ever found, and if you deal with the manufacturer, you'll probably be guaranteed freshness, without having to exchange it multiple times. I am 57 years old, and have always paid top dollar for the best moisturizers. Most people think I am too young to be a grandmother. I got this as a free sample, and am now hooked. Yet I would not buy from this site, because not only are you not getting a bargain, but you are paying higher than you should.
I don't get the hype over ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 5/26/08I don't get the hype over Kinerase. It does nothing special for my skin. I went back to Avage (retin A), which actually works and is lots cheaper, although you need a prescription for it. I use it at night and something cheap like Neutrogena during the day and my skin looks fine. Kinerase is right up there with Strivectin on my list of overpriced, under-performing skin creams.
I love this product. The ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 3/27/08I love this product. The price is steep, but the benefits are worth it. I have acne scars and when I use Kinerase cream my skin looks smoother. I went on vacation for a week and forgot to bring it with me. Not putting two and two together, as the week went on I started to wonder why my skin looked so bad. I got home and started using the cream again, and my skin looked smoother once again.
I do like Kinerase ... by Lise G in Berlin, CT on 3/14/08I do like Kinerase products, but they are VERY cost prohibitive! I got some samples once, and loved them, but how can a single mom/working class gal afford this line? Olay works just fine for me. |
