This is by far the best hair dryer/styling tool I have ever used! I have been using this dryer for years and will never use anything else. I have extremely thick/course/unruly hair, and this is the only dryer that smooths my frizzy, course strands and leaves my hair both straight and shiny! I have long hair and have never had issues with drying or smoothing it out with this product. It does take a little longer to dry my hair than a conventional hair dryer (due to the thickness and length), but the salon quality results are worth it! Just a tip for those of you with long, thick hair - try drying your hair in sections (I start with the bottom layer first and work my way to my top layer of hair) and run the brush through your hair multiple times until dry. Also, if you wrap your hair around the brush and hold it for a few seconds, the result will leave you with shinier, silkier locks. I get compliments on my hair all the time when I straighten it using this brush. Those who know that I have naturally thick, curly, crazy hair are amazed at how I am able to morph my hair into a glossy, straightened hairstyle. I am so glad to see that drugstore.com sells this product as it can be difficult to find. It really is the best hair styling tool ever!

I am not a fan of this. You have to all but dry your hair with your blow dryer, then use this. Sort of a pain! If I had the package (it comes in a bubble package) I would return it. I have fine hair that is fuzzy due to hair coloring, I thought this would help to smooth it instead of a curling or flat iron. It doesn't.

This is the best styling tool! I have been using this for over 15 years and mine just died and I will replace it with the same item. It is not meant to simply dry your hair! It is a styling tool. Either let your hair partially air dry or dry it part way with a blow dryer, than use this to style. I have med length wavy frizzy layer hair and this gives me a smooth curvy blowout with some volume. So much easier than using a brush and dryer. It takes about 5-10 min to style. I would never use anything else. Excellent product with good longevity.

These brushes have rows of small plastic teeth as opposed to sharp bristles - so they are far more gentle on delicate, fine, or damaged hair. They provide my unprocessed limp, fine, slightly wavy hair with lots of natural-looking volume, and they are quick and easy to use. My daughter also loves these brushes, and they do a wonderful job on her foil-highlighted hair. These brushes have a long life, and they are a snap to clean. I highly recommend them for adding volume and/or natural-looking waves to straight or wavy hair.

I read a couple of the reviews where people didn't like this dryer, but I think they probably don't know how to use it. If you use it as your primary styling/drying tool, you will probably be frustrated. The air flow is low, so if you have thick hair like me, it will take forever to get it dry. What I do is I usually use a regular blow dryer to get my hair mostly dry. I don't really spend a lot of time styling it with the blow dryer -- just get it dry. Then I use the hot air brush to "finish" my style. I wrap medium size sections around the brush and run it through from roots to ends and it makes my hair really smooth and shiny and with just a little wave - lots of volume too. When I used to just use a blow dryer and round brush, I just didn't get the same results that I do when I use this product. It would take forever to get it smooth -- but with the hot air brush, it's much easier to get that smooth, salon look.

I have never seen any item made as cheaply as the conair double brushes curling iron. I used it twice and the plastic teeth were falling as I used it. Also attachment fell off while using. The worst product I have ever seen.

I was looking for a product that would cut down on my styling time in the morning. When I saw this product for a reasonable price that dries your hair while curling it, I had to have it. The reviews on this website raved about it.

I have very thick, long hair. This product does not even begin to dry my hair. I used it after first blow drying my hair as well, and the product does not put out enough heat to even slighly turn the ends of my thick hair.

I have passed the product on to my sister who has very short, thin hair in hopes that it works better for her than it did for me
