This is my third, After my first failed after a seemingly short life, I decided I was done with this brand. But I couldn't find another brand with the brush tip which I find very important. So reluctanlty I bought another. Then I realized the secret to making them last. You add water from another cup, you never remove the blue cup that is provided. It will end up creating airlocks or something. But if I add water from another cup it seems to work fine although sometimes I have had to help the water by sucking it through like siphoning. I was ready to toss a second one when I discovered this. I now operate two in my house, with the brush tip,and I will always want the product because of this feature.

Preferred the older model that doesn't detach from the pump mechanism. The O ring connection is a weak spot. I would rather fill the tank with a cup. I always put a few drops of Chlorox in the water to reduce the bacterial count in gingival pockets. Very effective, but be dareful. Just enough to taste it.

My old Interplak Water Jet lasted just over two years and I was very happy with the performance. The new Interplak Water Jet that I ordered was twice as light as the previous one. (Was there a real motor in it?) When I turned it on a variety of sounds came out that were terribly grating next to the ear. Water occasionally spewed and spit or dribbled. It never pulsed. I cannot recommend this product with any stars. Save your money.

I used it once right out of the box, and made such a mess with it , water all over the place, I haven't used it again.

well priced and not as large or noiisy as other brands.. Cleans very well, but I have been using this brand for years, and it has a life of about 1 1/2 years.

This is a new and "improved" version I bought to replace one I had for many years. It has a puny motor that sounds like it's going to die right of the box. Not worth the money. I returned it for an Interplak.

This model is absolutely identical in appearance to the last Interplak model I owned. HOWEVER, upon receipt I noticed it was much lighter in weight. The reason is the motor is much smaller! This model has half the wattage of the identical looking one that Conair replaced it with. It lacks the power of the previous model. It eventually does the job, but you'll spend twice the time.
