Since I no longer have a water softener this fills the gap for keeping the inside of my dishwasher free from mineral deposits that used to build up in the tub. It's also good at removing mineral scale buildup on my sink racks that I now place on the top rack for regular cleaning. I used to use vinegar, but these tablets work much better and there is no lingering smell afterwards.

I decided to try this product because it is much cheaper than Glisten. My dishes and silverware were coming out of the dishwasher coated with a white film. So, I dropped 1 tablet in the bottom of the dishwasher and 1 in the soap dispenser and everything came out sparkling clean. I hope Drugstore.com never stops carrying this product. It's so nice to have clean dishes again and I'm sure my dishwasher is clean as well.
Place one tablet in the main detergent try and close the tray. If significant residue build-up is noticeable, place a second tablet in the bottom of the dishwasher. Close the dishwasher and start the normal wash cycle. Use once a month or as needed. Additional uses may be required.
