I started taking this vitamin due to some issues I'm having with my adrenals. Unfortunately, the issues are worse than I first thought, so I can't comment much about the benefits of this product due to my health problems. However, I can say that years ago I tried taking vitamins and could never continue because the synthetic vitamins always upset my stomach no matter how or when I took them. When I realized I was going to have to start taking vitamins, I was really concerned about going through that again. After reading reviews from other sites about the Living C and Garden of Life products in general, I decided to give it a try. For the first time ever, I'm able to take vitamins without the upset stomach. I did have to start with very low doses and work my way up as any vitamin C will cause some bloating and burping if you take too much. Your body will let you know what it can handle, so if you have these symptoms, take less and give your body a week or two to adjust, then add accordingly and give your body time to adjust before adding more.

These pills are quite large, but my multi-vitamin has a plastic-type coating that makes it stick to the back of my tongue and sometimes I gag it up. I do not have that issue with the vitamin C. Despite its large size, it goes down easily and doesn't have a bad taste. It actually doesn't have much of a taste at all. If you can get past the size of the pill, it's really pretty easy to take. As with all vitamin C, take with water.

In general I'm very pleased with this product and the progress that has been made in the vitamin industry in the past 10 years. It's great that we now have these natural alternatives that work with our bodies and doesn't cause the unpleasant side effects of the synthetic vitamins.
