So comfy, you forget that you're menstruating...cups can be messy at removal, so make sure that you have TP at the ready! I will never, ever go back to tampons!

Adjustment includes just how to get it in, and on what days to use it, but I'm very pleased with the product. Best for mid to light days, but makes me forget my period. Very very slight pressure feeling is easy to get used to, but feels better than a tampon. There's definitely a trick to getting it out without making a mess, but the benefits outweigh the downsides.

Why don't we hear about Instead more often? At the risk of giving TMI, this little device is great for allowing you to have sex during your period without a big mess (that is, until you take it out!) Of course, if you're one of those women who uses the excuse, "Not tonight, honey, I'm on my period," then don't let your husband/boyfriend find out about Instead!

The things that are great about insteade are that, it does not stick to my skin and rip it off when I pull it out, It does not contain bleach like tampons and it works well ALL the time.

These are safer than tampons and provide the same or better protection. I am glad I discovered this product and for the price. I pay over 10.00 at the store and pharmacy for these and there are only 12 in a pkg. Great find.

I had never heard about these female cups till I read an article in a magazine. So after much reserch on line and some self debating I decided to try the Instead cups, they sounded like the right fit for me. And I am so glad I did! The cups look a little intimidating at first but they are very easy to insert, and with having a very phsically demanding job that keeps me outdoors for up to 7 hours a day these are great. I can work all day and not have to worry about carrying extra protection with me. The only thing I have yet to master with the cup is the removal, it can be messy so I always make sure I have a private bathroom to remove one...I would definetly recommend anyone who uses tampons to give these a try, I'm glad I did!!

These are the greatest things since sliced bread! I'm very slender and I was worried these wouldn't work for me--but once I got the hang of them (about three day of wearing them), it was so easy to take them in and out. I never realized just how SMELLY tampons make you! With these cups, there is never an odor and your vagina stays nice and moist inside. This weekend I will be trying them during sex--that has to be the best benefit of all to using them. Can't wait!

I almost forget I'm on my period when I use these. You can put one in after you shower in the morning and you are set for the day. No need to haul tampons around in your purse. These are especially useful if you swim or boat. No string to wick up that icky water. Even the man you're with will love these because you can leave it in during sex and there is no mess.

At first, I thought "Hmmm. Maybe they come in more than one size. This could be interesting." I put in in, following the directions. It was effective, but I could still feel it, and it shifted out a bit when I tried to have a bowel movement. I watched the video on the softcups website. Then, I tried it again. Now, I am in love with the product. I work a 12.5 hour shift. I have heavy menstruation. I don't have time to deal with all of the trips to the bathroom, the sensation of a clotty mess as it exits, or fear that my full pad can't hold anymore. Me and my generic Midol (-or whatever I happen to be taking for the pelvic pain) sometimes forget that I am having a period. THAT is nice. If you plan on removing this in a public restroom, either pack femine hygeine or baby wipes, or choose a "family style" restroom that has a sink. This will help you avoid risking walking out of a stall with blood on your hands since it stores everything in the cup. Depending on how much has accumulated, removal can be messy. I recommend this to all my friends. Though, most are intimidated and haven't tried it. Take it from me, I am a 28 year-old virgin. I still require the smallest speculum for my annual exam. IT IS COMFORTABLE. It may look big, but it will fit. It is designed so that it doesn't fall out. If first you don't succeed, try, try again. If you feel it, it is in wrong. Remove. Reinsert. Please wash your hands before & after insertion.
