I've only used these for 2 periods so far and they are making my days much more comfortable and clean. After being a pad user for decades it took a while to get the insertion correct, but don't give up if this happens to you! Keep rereading those directions and keep trying & you'll be glad you did. Online community journals on the subject of menstural cups were helpful too. I even bought a Diva cup too & use that sometimes. i can't find this product anywhere besides drugstore.com and i love that drugstore.com has them in 24-packs. they fit comfortably, i use about 2 every 24 hours during the first few days of my period, one a day on the last days when flow is lighter. just put one in before work/school, and switch it out with a new one before bed. it's only messy when you take it out on heavier days, but as long as you're over the toilet this shouldn't be a problem. great for sports, swimming, there's no leakage or discomfort to worry about. love it love it love it :)

This product is much more comfortable than tampons and the protection lasts much longer. Sometimes all day long. Great for swimming (don't have to worry about a string creeping out of the suit). I started using them 10 years ago and have never gone back to tampons once! Only drawback (minor, in my opinion) is that when you do finally remove it it can be rather messy to take out. But the fact that you only have to do that once or twice a day makes it worth it.

I too have been using this product since it first came out. I tried tampons one time, felt it the whole time it was in and said forget it. Relagated myself to using pads and even then couldnt stand them. I felt like a baby wearing diapers, had leaks at night (slept on my sides to combat leaks), then the odor. Being a brand-new product I was not sure, but the instant I put one in I never felt it. Yeah, it is 'messy', but hello (!) what does one expect? It isnt absorbing into a piece of foam. If done over a toilet and just poured there, no mess except for your finger(s). I love that I can swim with them and also still make love to my boyfriend. He can feel it, but it does not bother him. I do make sure I put a fresh one in within a few hours before we do. He calls it my 'sombrero'. I used to be able to buy them at [...], but of course a small section of thier shelves cannot go for a product that is not so main stream. The whole aisle has to be dedicated to every kind of pad and tampn known to woman. So I get them here. Being on Sesonique, and not needing a whole box every three months, I only have to buy them every six months or so. But thank you Drugstore.com for carrying them!!

There are no lost tampon strings. They can stay in a lot longer than tampons. Have no concern about TSS. Must be familiar with vagina to use these cups. They stay in place.

I found this product at my Sister in Law's as I ran out of tampons and needed something. I tried Instead and have been hooked ever since! That was 5 years ago and still use this product, and is hard to find in stores so I buy it here now. Is interesting getting used to it, but fits perfectly and is super comfortable as I don't even know it is there! Won't ever go back to tampons or pads.

Been using this product for over ten years. It does take a little getting used to, but it's great for those with sensitive skin. You do have to be comfortable with yourself to use it, no applicator!

I have been using Instead for 8+ years after a couple of coworkers recommended it. Instead takes a little time to get used to but once you're adjusted you will never want to use a tampon again! I have been preaching the good word about Instead for years. Now I'm stockpiling boxes like Elaine did with the Today sponge on "Seinfeld."

I have been using Instead for a few years now. I love this product, I will never go back to tampons or pads. It took me a few month to get use to, but if I remember correctly it took me a few months to get use to tampons also. They can be messy when removing if you don't change them often enough on heavy days, but I have never had one leak. They are getting harder and harder to find local, so I do order from here now.
