I was part of the test group for this product AGES ago, and have been using it ever since. I still cannot believe how it stays under the radar, I guess they just need Oprah to mention it on her show. It is a bit messy at removal, read the directions before you use it, but try it instead of tampons etc, it is MUCH better!!!!!!!!! Do not sleep in it, use pads at night.

Easy to use & perfect for 'light' or 'spotting' days!

I find that I can use just one in a 24 hour period. since my periods are light, I only use 4-5 per period and save money overall compared to a box of tampons. On heavier days you will need to change more often but still less often than a tampon.

This product is a great alternative to tampons.

Stuck in an emergency without my (reusable) divacup, I gave these a shot and was thoroughly disappointed. They were messier than my divacup and they're going to be in the landfills forever. If you like not having to change your tampon frequently and are getting along fine with Instead, you should really try the earth-friendly silicone option and never have to buy another box of feminine products again. I was horrified to have to leave these behind in someone else's trashcan.

Put it in at 6 am and forget it about it until you get home! These things re great for everyday use for people who are BUSY like me and can't rush to the bathroom every two hours. Plus, you really feel nothing. I have never found tampons totally comfortable and pads are not realistic for my life. You can run, swim, even have sex with these. It really makes having your period no big deal.

I finally do not have to schedule waxing due to periods, worry about having tons of tampons in my bag at work (I am a nurse) and/or leaking during a long shift when I don't have time to go to the bathroom and change tampons. This is the best creation EVER!! I think that some women may be creeped out by putting it in or taking it out, but come on, it's YOUR vagina, just do it!!

I love Insteads, and have been using them over 10 years. I will admit, they take some getting used to, but once you are comfortable with them you'll never want to use anything else. These are wonderful - you can wear it for up to 12 hours, you can have sex wearing it, and it's so comfortable you don't even realize you're wearing it. You have to remember though, this is a soft cup, and when you take it out you need to be careful. I've read the reviews of people on here complaining about it being messy - it's a cup filled with blood, if you're not careful, of course it's going to be messy. I've never had a problem taking it out, after I got used to it. But you have to be patient, this is something new and different. Gently tug on the rim until it comes loose, and then slowly pull it out. Once you've done it a few times, it becomes very easy. I use nothing else, there's no need. At the most, I use 3 in a 24-hour period, but usually I'm fine with one every 12 hours. I hate if I'm traveling and I can't find them and I have to revert back to tampons or pads. With Insteads I can go on with my life without being aware every minute that I have my period. These are so worth it, give them a chance!
