This product, if purchased to be used as a water wicking comb, is useless. It will detangle just fine, if that's all you need it to do.

I have straight hair that's long and fine. I bought this comb after seeing the claim that it reduces water in the hair by 20%. I used it this morning after I'd washed and conditioned my hair and taken a shower. It did remove SOME water, because I could see water droplets flying as I was running the comb through my hair. I would not say that it was able to remove 20% of the water in my hair though. My hair might've taken a minute or two less to blow dry, but it really didn't make enough of a difference in my blowdry time to impress me. I'm not sure if the comb doesn't work well for me because my hair is fine, or if it just doesn't work as well as claimed for anyone. The comb does detangle my hair very well though, so I guess I'll keep it. If you're looking to cut your dry time drastically, this comb probably isn't going to do it. If you want a comb that detangles your hair easily, I would recommend this comb.

Did feel that it worked as described. If it's taking water out of my hair I should see water drops. Doesn't do anything a regular comb already does.
