This formula is super gentle and does a good job of detangling and softening. It also smells really good. However, I found it difficult to get my hair clean and kept pumping out more and more product to get the ob done. My hair is fine and oily and I felt it weighed things down a bit. This is probably a better choice for someone with thicker hair and a dry scalp.

I really, really love the way this makes my scalp feel. Even when I wake up at night it still feels minty fresh. It just feels like it's doing something good. I think this is an excellent product and my hair and scalp love it. The only thing (that is true with all natural conditioners) it doesn't leave my hair feeling slick the way my unnatural silicon filled conditioner does. My Routine now is to use the cleansing conditioner, let it soak, then apply my unnatural conditioner on top. I am very happy with this combination.since I get the best of both worlds. And I am not stripping my hair with harsh shampoos every time.I do have to use quite a bit of the cleansing conditioner each time, which makes it a fairly expensive product, but for me it's worth the price. I love knowing that hair and scalp is soaking in all that goodness.

I'm a former Wen girl, but needed something more affordable. I tried this, but sadly, am not a fan. Not only is it very thin in consistency (=liquid), but I had trouble massaging into my scalp, even using water to spread it around, as the directions recommended. Also, I barely smelled any fragrance. That being said, after I dried & styled my hair, my hair did look good. Still, I prefer Vidal Sassoon's Pro Series cleansing conditioner as a Wen alternative, b/c it's slightly thicker like Wen, rubs really well into my scalp and smells fantastic (not to mention cheaper than RenPure).

When I started using this I had thin, dry & fragile hair that frizzed really easily. Because of the additional products I used, I needed to shampoo way too often. I was looking for something to get me by so I didn't need to shampoo so often. This cleansing conditioner is wonderful! I can go 4 days between shampooing and my hair is in much better shape. My hair is soft and shiny again. Use as directed and you will not be dissapointed!

I have thin hair that frizzes really easily AND live in the great, but very rainy, Pacific Northwest. What a bad combination! The only way to control the frizz has been to add more and more product but then I have to wash it every day which makes my dry fragile hair even more dry & fragile, making it even frizzier. I ran into this product on the shelf at my local grocery story and gave it a try. I was hooked the first time I used it. I can skip 3 - 4 days between washings and just do a water rinse very other day. My hair feels incredible. I've got a lot less hair breakage, the frizzies are almost nonexistent and my hairdresser can't believe how fabulous my hair feels and looks. Yes, it really is a thin consistency but that is only a problem if you are trying to make it feel like other cleaning/conditioning products feel in your hair. You WILL NOT get any kind of a lather out of this. But, if you follow the directions (massage into hair/scalp for a full 2-3 minutes and let it sit in your hair for another full 5 minutes before rinsing out), your hair will look and feel great.

I love this product. I have fine, wavy, dry hair - which means I don't want to shampoo every day, but I'm also a runner, which means my hair gets sweaty on an almost daily basis. This product is great because it freshens and cleans my hair without stripping it. It doesn't weigh it down, but it definitely has improved the texture and the frizz. I love that it is a one-step process. The mint is refreshing on the scalp, but not irritating. I have a lot of fragrance allergies and dislikes, and I really like the smell - it's clean and fresh and it goes away as it dries. I am planning to get the pomegranate version as well.

Found this on my search for a replacement for the expensive "W" cleanser but it falls short. The rosemary mint scent is pleasant but the product itself is very liquid and gets thinner and soupy on wet hair which made me feel like I needed to keep adding more. Ran into the same problem that "W" seems to have conquered of..rinse enough to have roots feel clean leaves hair feeling like it needs additional conditioner. Also wasn't able to use it as a leave-in as I do with "W" so that defeats the purpose of a combo product. After overnight air dry my hair was limp and ratty and rough to blow out after re-wetting. My hair is below shoulder length, demi-perm color treated with medium texture and lots of natural body/curl. I purchased this together with Salon Grafix cleanser and have to say while neither really impressed me, this one is better of the two. I will keep them both to use as shave products since the return shipping cost would be half the cost of the products. I'll keep searching.

My husband has hand eczema and cold weather eczema on his sides. He dislikes chemicals in standard products, but he uses them like most of us still do. He has very short hair, sort of army style. Short on sides a little on top. It is thin on the sides and thick on top back to the crown area where it is thin again. By thin i mean the amount of hair not the texture. He has dark wavy slightly textured hair. ~~~ With that said I have been looking for something that smelled good on him to me. Something that would condition his scalp. And was healthier, more organic in content (he was requesting that as well). And it would have to pass his beauty standards. Meaning it would actually give a nice shine and work-ability to his hair. This has done all that! I love love love this. He is still also using a shampoo to rotate with but he uses only this on its 'turn'. Working perfect for us! I hope they dont discontinue this. Seems to happen a lot me, lol.

My hair is medium-long in length, extremely thick, fine texture, but wavy and my scalp suffers from seborrheic dermatitis (SD) so I am extremely careful & picky when it comes to hair products. Two years ago I tried Wen for 4 months, but it made my SD flare up so terribly that I had raw patches all over my head, plus it really built up and weighed my hair down. I purchased 5 or 6 different types of cleansing conditioners over the summer to try them all out, and RenPure was the winner that worked the best for me. It hasn't made my SD flare up at all (which is a miracle as every other shampoo does, with the exception of toxic anti-dandruff shampoos) and my hair is shiny and very healthy looking after 3 months of using it. I've even been able to extend my shampoos to once every 5-7 days without my hair looking greasy, and my scalp isn't completely dehydrated after washing it like it has been with other cleaners.
My advice for this product is to use it for several weeks before making your final decision. Over time the heavier cleansing conditioners that I initially liked either started to build up on my scalp and caused an SD outbreak, or they began to make the top part of my hair very greasy. RenPure was the best at both cleansing my scalp AND keeping my ends hydrated. My hair & scalp have never looked or felt better, and for the first time I don't have any moisture imbalances from scalp to ends.
