I've read a lot about these BB creams but never tried one. I saw many good reviews for this Maybelline one so I decided to try it. I would give it five stars but since I've only used it a few times so far, I don't know if it really has the long-term effects like evening the skin tone, brightening, etc. But it's GREAT as a combination sunscreen, moisturizer, and light makeup. I never used foundation all over my face because it looks unnatural, but this blends with my skin tone and looks moist and natural. I have very light skin so the Light worked for me. Since my skin is dryer now than it used to be, I used a little bit of a richer moisture cream first, then let it sink in. Then I used a makeup primer before the BB cream which may have helped it to last longer. It really evens the appearance of my skin by covering redness, etc. One day when I went out I wanted more of a sunscreen than SPF 30, so before the BB cream I used one of those little sunscreen sticks, SPF 55, and blended that in. Those are not thick or greasy. It's true the tube is small, but it's such a good value, and other brands' BB creams cost way more. I'm very happy with this product.
This BB cream is awesome, I've been looking for something to apply that is light but looks like makeup because I hate makeup. This works great! I was just disappointed because it's fits in the palm of my hands, i didn't expect it to be so small.
I very, very rarely need to use foundation and when I do, I hate the heaviness of standard products. My mother picked this up for me on a whim, as she bought one for herself and we wanted to try it. I love that this is lightweight and very sheer, but it provides just the right amount of coverage. It does tend to make me break out a bit around the chin/jaw area, but since I don't use this every day, it's a minor thing and it usually goes away in a couple of days. The only thing I don't like about it is that gives me a SLIGHTLY ashy look...it's not noticeable to the general public, but as a woman of color I notice these things. Overall, it's a great product and has become a staple in my makeup case. I apply with a foundation brush and then blend with a beauty blender sponge, which gives a smooth, airbrushed, and flawless look. Great for when I need a more polished look for my makeup.
It causes me to break out, particularly around my lower cheeks and chin area. I still take the chance and use it sometimes because I don't like looking/feeling like I have makeup on and it is completely sheer. I like having the sun protection without the oiliness or scent of regular sunscreen.
I don't like foundation. its too heavy for my acne prone skin. So i enjoy this, however if you have oily skin, this is not a good product. I have dry combination skin and i find that i need blotting tissues through my day. Its does blur imperfections and make my skin look smooth.

i am a dark skinned woman and i wanted to try this amazing new BB product that my fair skinned friends raved about. maybelline is a trusted brand i use. i was not disappointed with the product. blends well with my skin tone and doesent feel heavy.
This is my first BB cream/tinted moisturizer and it works great on my skin. It keeps my skin oil free and does not break me out. It definitely provides sheer coverage but I use my full coverage foundation under my eyes and to conceal any trouble spots. I also use a skin colored mineral powder to set it so I have enough coverage. Pleasant surprise!
