I was bummed because I finally found brown/black in a waterproof maskera, only to be dissapointed because though I like the full brush (shape/bristles) they intentionally made a flex-kink in the handle that makes putting it on your lashes very awkward. I like to control the angel and strength with my own hand while putting it on, not to have the brush dictate to me it's flimsy state. Boo......change the wand and you'll have more customers!

I've been on a long hunt for a great mascara since they discontinued my alltime favorite by another manufacturer several years ago. I've spent as much as 4 times what MegaPlush costs, but none surpass this one--not even my former alltime favorite.
At first I was surprised at the flexible brush on this one, but that flexibility is a non-issue. The brush is superior to others because it doesn't come out of the tube with a big glob at the tip. Horray!
I have sensitive eyes and had no stinging or tearing whatsoever with this. My skin is a little oily, and the mascara did not rub off and make raccoon eyes on me, as so many other ones do, particularly the waterproof formulas. The thing I liked the most was that it substantially coats every lash without clumping, both upper and lower, and it truly volumizes in one coat, but I use 2 on the upper lashes. It washes off easily with my normal soap and water.
This stuff makes my eyes look beautiful all day. It looks freshly applied all day, too. And at the end of the day I don't have to use extra products to remove it, most of which are oily, as if I needed *that*. Please don't "improve" it or discontinue it. It doesn't get any better than this.

I found this gave great definition to my upper lashes but when I put it on the bottom it was very difficult to apply - at least in my case which is I have a lot of lashes but they are almost invisible without mascara - and I was disappointed it smudged under my eyes. I was anxious to try a waterproof mascara hoping this wouldn't happen. So it's not a total waste of my money, I am continuing to apply it to the upper lashes until it's gone. I am using my former mascara, Cover Girl, which doesn't smudge and will go back to using it overall once this is gone.

A couple weeks ago I bought this mascara on a whim. It was new and I have tried every mascara I get my hands on...This is by far and away the ABSOLUTE BEST EVER!!!!! I will NEVER again useanything other than this one...It goes on smoothly and beautifully and has never clumped and best of all when you pull the wand out it's already evenly distributed with only a little extra on the end only. Every other mascara has sooooo much extra that i've ALWAYS has to wipe it off (waste) on a tissue. FINALLY I don't have to!!!
For best results, place the Maybelline New York Volum' Express The Mega Plush Waterproof Mascara Flexor Brush against lashes and sweep from root to tip until a plush look is achieved.
