This product is useless, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I bought this for my dog after reading on the Web that it can help dogs suffering from separation anxiety. The sites I visited suggested putting a few drops in the dog's water bowl [didn't work with my dog -- he turned up his nose upon smelling something foreign in his otherwise pristine Britta water], or dabbing a couple drops inside the dog's ear. My unscientific conclusion: I think the product helped reduce separation anxiety, although getting my dog to sit still for the in-ear dabs raised its own set of issues. Overall, though, I think its worth trying if your dog is suffering from occasional separation anxiety.

Of course this(and other Bach products) would "calm" you, your cat, anyone. It may also cause an allergic reaction called "alcoholism". Think before you take any "natural" remedy, and always read ingredients.An average wine has 9% alcohol!

I use the Bach Flowers for my cats - and they really work. Rescue Remedy can't be beat for anxiousness.

I give this to my dog when I know a storm is coming. My dog totally stresses out over storms, and this seems to take the edge off her reaction to the weather. I just put a couple of drops on a dog treat or piece of meat. It takes about 20 minutes to take affect, but when it does, you can tell the difference. I also like that it's natural and I can give it to Bailey without worrying about side-effects.

My cat started meowing and howling during the middle of night a couple of months ago. This product was suggested in several books. It has not stopped but is better. I read this week to rub a small amout in the ear for a better effect. That did work almost right away. I add to his water each morning. I love that Bach is respected and all natural.

I don't use this on a regular basis, but when I do, sometimes I feel a bit more calmer, other times i'm in doubt. I don't feel groggy the next day which it's a good thing.

I'd heard for years that Bachs Rescue Remedy was good for relieving stress in cats that are in a rescue situation such as Trap Neuter Return. I am skeptical by nature so didn't believe that this could have much effect. Then my periodontist told me to use this before my dental surgery to calm my nerves and he's a scientist! So I tried it. It really works for me. It takes the edge off my nervousness without making me too sleepy to drive or function. I used it as needed in the dentist chair and was not nearly as nervous as I have been in the past. So I realized that if it works for me, it probably works for cats too. When I take my cats to the vet, I rub some on my fingers and then rub their ears with it. It really does seem to help them calm down. It can also be added to their water for rescued cats, adopted cats in transition or cats in traps that are being taken in to be spayed or neutered. It's such a stressful process for them and anything that helps them to feel calmer is surely worth the small effort. It would probably work for dogs too. I highly recommend it.
