I recently made the switch to paraben-free products, so this was my first paraben-free lotion and I have no paraben-free lotions to compare it to. It was a lot greasier than I expected it to be, and much greasier than most lotions I used to use ... it took quite a while to absorb, but I found that once absorbed, it felt light and moisturizing on my skin. Also, when I first applied it, I found the formula to be much lighter in texture than the lotions I'm used to, but it seems that despite its formula, its capacity to moisturize is as good, if not better, than the lotions I've used previously. On the scent, it is much nicer than I expected, after having read the reviews here. I use 100% tea tree oil on a regular basis and this doesn't smell anything like tea tree oil. It smells like light florals (maybe honeysuckle?), with maybe a touch of a green or grassy scent, almost like a light perfume. It's not particularly herbal and definitely not medicinal smelling, but I do find the scent to be stronger than the reviews made it seem ... the scent doesn't dissipate quickly after application.

Consistency and absorbency and being long lasting are great qualities of this lotion. But I prefer the original scent. It had such good chemistry on my skin that people around me thought I was wearing a fresh smelling and subdued perfume! And I enjoyed it all day too. I regret the company changed the formula. But I still buy it because it's the best non-allergenic and effective lotion there is.

I have had sensitive - dry - terrible skin all of my 52 years. I have tried almost every product on the market through the years. This Nature's Gate Skin Therapy Moisturizing Lotion for Dry, Chapped, Cracked Skin - is the BEST. I just bought it for my sister - and she loves it too.

Bought this because of the tea tree oil in the ingredients. The brand is one that I have purchased before, and liked. Also be aware this does have a slight tea tree smell, but it wasn't overwhelming to me. I had some itchy spots between my toes (dry and flaky) and since using this they have gone away. I also tend to have itchy/dry feet in the winter months and so far I do not since using this product.

I'm recovering from eczema. Was looking for good big-volume non-perfumed moisturizer. Used Simple Derma moisturizer (I live in Slovakia, Europe, you can get Simple Derma in the UK), was looking for something similar. It's great; I would say its smell is an acquired taste, but I'm fine with it. I can only recommend this one.

The product has changed since I previously purchased it, It no longer has aloe in it and it doesn't smell asgood. I prefer the original lotion

I first used this lotion several years ago on a sunburn, but have used it as an all-purpose moisturizer ever since. It absorbs faster than any other "natural" lotion I've ever tried, and leaves my skin feeling nice and hydrated for hours without being greasy. I noticed a real difference in the smoothness of my skin after just three days.

Also, I'm extremely sensitive to fragrances -- can't even use plain Neutrogena without my hands breaking out and almost all scents give me a headache -- but I have no trouble with this. It's not a floral or perfumey scent, but an herbal, "clean" smell. My husband describes it as "medicinal without being antiseptic."

We love this product. My daughter and I have very different skin, but this product works wonders for us both. My daughter has severely chapped dry hands and we've tried many different brands - some extremely costly - and most of them burn her skin. This product seems to be the only one that doesn't. We have a difficult time finding it in local stores so I was glad to find it online!!!
