I have skin that is quintessentially combo - sometimes have dry areas, sometimes oily, no longer "young" skin but not quite mature either. This foundation performs every bit as well on my skin as the more expensive department store brands. It's done a beautiful job standing up to the muggy summer heat and looks just as good at 6pm as when I put it on that morning. As another reviewer mentioned, it's best to go easy on the application, and a little does go a long way. In order to keep it looking even and natural, I use a damp foundation brush to blend it into my skin after I briefly apply it with my fingers.

No need for primer even with dry, mature skin over 50. Just normal day cream or sunblock is enough since this product is very creamy. Use sparingly! A little actually DOES go a long way. Too much could potentially look like a mask. It lasts for hours without touch-up. And gives a smooth appearance, too! The jar is very stylish like those found in department stores. In my opinion, it's one of the best out there for a reasonable price. I would not recommend it for youthful, normal or oily skin - lucky you! Many other lighter-weight products for those types.

Not so great. It's so oily and does not blend well. I even use matt primer but this foundation still rubs off and so oily.

An excellent foundation with medium to light coverage. Best is the flat jar container because you can use all of the product, instead of a bottle where a fourth remains in the bottom unreachable.

I've tried almost all of these shades and they are all yellowish on me. I wish it was offered in a pink tone for women with truly pink-toned skin. I won't wear a shade of foundation that leaves me with that ugly line on my jawline where makeup ends and real skintone begins.

There are only so many times I can purchase a product, return it for another shade, then have to return that one, on and on.

I love this makeup, and I am VERY fussy about foundations. This is not heavy, but gives medium coverage, and is great for dry or combination skin, (even if it is aging, like mine is!) It does not provide a heavy matte finish, which I hate and shows up lines and wrinkles, but slightly luminous, and is very forgiving to a face that is not in it's 20's anymore. This may not make you look like Halle Berry from the ad, but you will definitely look prettier!
