I bought both the light and the fair in this BB cream. The Fair is a little light for me, but works well in the winter. The Light is much darker, even too dark for use in the summer time. In other brands, it would be closer to what I would expect from the medium tone.

Sad to say I can't use this product because it is way too orange. Looked like a bad fake tan. Also a bummer that I can't return it because it doesn't have the color guarantee. If you're fair skinned, don't go with this BB cream.

I ordered "light" as I have a somewhat light skin tone, but the lightest of any makeup is usually too light for me. I am 99% of the time good to go with the 2nd lightest... plus I figured that this would be fairly sheer like other BB creams I have used. But this is way too dark for me - I'd say it is 2 shades too dark! So if you are light-skinned, I'd go with the "fair" color.

I highly recommend this product its perfect and looks natural while hiding small blemishes, its truly hard to find that perfect match in regular foundations its either to light or to dark and seldom just right because as the weather changes the more you tend to go outdoors and your skin tone changes,so far this product seems to go with the flow.

The next time you need an orange tone to your skin, this product is exactly what you want. I chose "fair" and the B&B, when applied, turned a very orange color. I saw comments regarding this outcome when I looked before I bought, but failed to heed. Believe me, if you have fair skin, this is not the product for you. Orange you glad to know?

I am in love with the coverage and texture of this cream. I have tried many BB creams and it is by far my favorite especially for good lightweight coverage. I wear the light, which is yellow based and maybe can read a bit bronze but it really warms up my fair skin and makes my light eyes totally pop (perfect with a smokey eye look). If you are very fair try mixing the fair shade with the light shade for a custom color. Also, the cream is white with pigment beads so rub between fingers for a few seconds to warm up and then apply to face (apply about the size of a dime). Good luck and please give this a try!

This was the first BB Cream I've tried. I'm 27 and have had a long and persistent history of acne, so my skin is wrecked with scars and current acne. I've tried hundreds of foundations over the years and have never found a good balance of coverage and light-weight feel, until I came across this miracle cream. I got it just to use on my days off when I'm only leaving the house to walk the dog, but it has actually become my go-to foundation. It comes out of the bottle white and runny, but when applied like a lotion it starts to match my skin tone. What I really couldn't believe was how well it covered up my scars, and still felt like I wasn't wearing anything at all! No sticky feeling, no oil, and it doesn't wipe off on my clothes. My skin is naturally oily so as the day wears on I still have to blot, but not not nearly as much as I do with other foundations. I can sometimes go without moisturizer when using this product, but I often have dry, cracked skin that requires more hydration.

The one draw-back is that it's kind of orange. I was on the fence about ordering light or medium, and thankfully I went with light. It is just a tad too dark and orange for me, but not so much that I think I can go with a lighter shade. It will be perfect for me in the summer, but for now I might try a different brand for the winter. For reference, I have very dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and a neutral skin tone that tans fairly easily.

Also, based on the other reviews here, I wonder if the company has a problem with consistency in this product. My experience has been very different from many other reviewers, so much so that it sounds like we're not using the same product.

Product claims to adjust to correct to your skin tone but it does not. I received the "fair" but it's really a dark orange, like a bad orange tan in a bottle. I had to buy a different brand and I mix a tiny dot of this in with to use. Did they mis-label this bottle as fair or put the wrong color in this bottle? It's darker than my medium is in the same brand different formula.

It applies very splotchy. The beaded texture is uncomfortable to apply. There is no coverage, it highlights pimples. Gives an orange finish.
