I used to use L'Oreal Age Perfect BB cream light-medium and I really liked it. It wasn't heavy and thick like makeup. I guess they don't make it anymore, so I tried L'Oreal's Magic Skin Beautifier BB cream fair. It was nothing like the Age Perfect BB cream. My only hope is that L'Oreal reads the reviews on their products.

I just completely love this product. My pores totally disappear and my skin looks smooth and perfect. I even get compliments when I wear this. I wish it had spf but I'm willing to apply it beforehand. I love to rub a good amount between my palms and apply by pressing in then blending where needed with fingers. This truly is magic! I've repurchased twice and will continue to do so.

Fair is a lovely match for Bare Minerals Linen.

Shade matching is frustrating not only because you can't see the product but because you have to rub in the product to break the color beads that activate during application. I guess this is meant to create the illusion the moisturizer is somehow reacting to your skin (Like is often claimed in commercials but is of course impossible) however it only serves to irritate sensitive skin during application and make the shade unclear until fully rubbed in (As it comes out of the tube white with little dark color beads)
Withe the fair tone while the final color is slightly too dark the real problem is that after a minute or so on your face it oxidizes and turns into a noticeable orange cast!
It makes the product completely unusable!

This has been my everyday product for close to 2 years, but the formula has changed. It was a perfect fair/neutral bb cream but now creates the dreaded orange cast!

I was able to compare it side-by-side on my skin with an older tube, and they are completely different shades. I bought another, hoping it was just a glitch, but it was identical to the awful orange-y tube.

This is such a letdown after so much trial and error with finding a true "fair" bb cream. And, it does not have the "color guarantee" so it's not even returnable.

This is the best face coverage ever. I've tried other BB creams and find them heavy and look like make up; this BB cream looks like your're not wearing make up; leaves skin soft and flawless looking and to top it off - I'm 68 years young.
I just LOVE IT.

I really love this cream. I don't need to wear makeup with it on. I have very dry and sensitive skin and it hasn't caused me to break out in a rash or acne. It looks really natural and matches my skin color perfectly. It's also really easy to just use a little concealer on a couple places I need it.

This product is good as it is but would be better if it had some SPF. I bought the light shade (should have bought the fair shade though) and didn't notice it had no SPF. Coverage is good and it feels more like a tinted moisturizer than a bb cream really.

This is the first BB cream I've tried, so I can't compare to others and maybe BB creams just aren't for me. I knew going in that it wouldn't have much coverage, so I intended to use it as more of a primer for my foundation. I saw no major benefits of using it as a primer, although it may have helped my pores seem a little smaller. The better use is for days you want very light coverage and to just use it without foundation (as more of a tinted moisturizer). The issue I had with that is I felt I needed to use a moisturizer in addition to the BB cream. The BB does give a more matte finish (even when using it with another moisturizer) than a tinted moisturizer, so that is a plus. The color was a good match (Fair, and I am quite fair), but I'm going to stick with a tinted moisturizer and powder for the non-foundation days. It's not a bad product, just not useful for me (thus the 2 stars).

I have oily/combo skin and this stuff started looking greasy on my face after only 2-3 hours. It also seemed to give me little pimples. It's too bad, because I loved the way it made my skin look when I first apply it. I used it for a couple months and it seemed to consistantly give me the same problems.
Probably good for dry skin thats not prone to breakouts.

This BB cream is not what I expected. It comes out white with little specks in it and somehow is pigmented when blended into your skin. I assume those specks are exfoliants, because after applying this makeup to my face pieces of it flake off everywhere. My sink is full of little makeup bits and I actually have to gently go over my face with a washcloth after applying so I'm not peeling everywhere. It's the strangest thing and nothing similar to this has happened to me with any other foundation.
I don't feel like this makeup does anything to improve my skin and shouldn't even be called a BB cream, however, as someone else said, it's not a bad base for your concealer/powder. I don't hate this makeup but the way it flakes off is a pain and I will be trying something new now that the tube is empty.
