I'm a strange one. I like to mix my primer with my BB cream, and then apply the mixture to my face with my fingers. Yesterday, I used a $6 primer from E.L.F. mixed in with my Ponds Luminous Finish BB cream, applied my under-eye concealers, a little bit of mineral powder foundation in my T-zone and then set it all with my Coty setting powder. My makeup looked flawless for 12 hours, the last hour of which, my nose started to glow just a tad. This morning, I decided to try this primer from Neutrogena following the exact same routine. I had to blot my nose within one hour and have been blotting every hour since, I have some weird irritation/redness happening on my cheeks, and my under-eye makeup isn't holding up at all. I hadn't realized this product contained soy until today, so it will be going in the trash, because my skin does not respond well to soy!

I use this product day/evening under foundation. It has a beautiful sheen that makes your skin glow. Just the right texture (not too thick, which seems to be a common problem w/ primers.) My make up stays on all day! The cost can't be beat and it has SPF! Remember....it's a crime not to prime!

When my previously used primer (Revlon PhotoReady) ran out, I decided to try something new. I bought Neutrogena Healthy Skin because I like some of their other products and since I have fair skin I can always use extra SPF. I was really disappointed when I put this on for the first time. Honesly, it was no different than putting on sunscreen. It is greasy and makes my face look shiny without smoothing out my complexion or adding any color. (Note: I do not have oily skin so this primer gives me a dewy look that almost crosses the border into oily. I don't mind it much, however girls with oily skin should beware!). I'm not sure if it makes my makeup last longer, either. I've used this a couple of times and probably won't use it much again unless maybe I am planning on spending the day in the sun. All in all I regret this purchase and will go back to Revlon Photoready.

I use it every day under foundation. It adds a bit of brightness and evens out the application of foundation.
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.
