Never have had a cold sore, but this keeps my old lips yummy soft. It is a little pricey, but lasts a long time. Even cut the little tube in half when it can't be squeezed any more to get out any leftover procduct.

best thing ive found for cold sores. i put it on as soon as i feel the tingling and it actually stops the cold sore in its tracks. it has no chance to form. highly recommend this product.

This product is by far the best on the market. I have tried so many like Abreva (that cost a arm & a leg) and store brands nothing worked for me until I discovered this wonderful gem. The catch to using this is at the first sign of that little itch you get at your lip line (run for your Lysine). Apply it as soon as possible when you feel that itch and guess what that cold sore will not even have the chance to form. I always make sure I keep this handy. IT'S GREAT & IT WORKS.

does not work for me at all. maybe because it's too runny. so it ends up not at the right spot?

My cold sores usually last a week or more. I have used Abreva, Campho-Phenique, tea tree oil. None have worked well, as my cold sores ended up lasting more than a week and I eventually got a huge scar because my lips were too dry. This time, the minute I felt that tingling sensation I took an ice cube and melted it on my lip (3 times that night!!). I then dabbed some yogurt on the sore (I was out of ointments that night). The next morning I woke up and it wasn't too swollen. In fact, I could hardly feel it. I purchased this product and I've been applying it for 2 days and the cold sore is almost gone. My lips aren't swollen, I do not have a scab, maybe a small circular spot that is a bit darker than my lips, but hardly noticeable! Not too expensive, but works very well and goes on clear. I highly recommend it!!

This product does not cause the pain or blister that other products cause. It is nice smelling and can be used frequently. It helped me heal in one day versus 5 days with other products. I highly recommend this product!

I have used countless OTC and prescription drugs to battle cold sores that I have been getting since my teens. I can honestly say that this product works wonders! I have pneumonia, and woke up 2 days later with a cold sore, quite common when my immune system runs low. I decided to try this and within 2 DAYS (NOT 2 weeks), the cold sore is almost gone. I truly find this to be a miracle, and recommend to those who suffer to give it a try...it surely can't hurt, and hopefully you will have the same wonderful results I did!

I would rather give it zero stars. Not only did this not help me any, it actually irritated my already chapped lips. It's a tiny tube and expensive! Run far, run fast!

This product is amazing! I start to feel the tingle of a cold sore coming on and apply and it prevents the cold sore from coming up. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has problems with chronic cold sores as I do!
