I like foaming face cleansers and finding one that doesn't dry my skin is difficult. I normally use Clinique splash away (I think it has been renamed). But I purchased the sample kit for the moisturizer and tried this out too. I would prefer to use more natural products and Giovanni makes some really nice one.
I really like this cleanser. It works up to a light lather and cleans well without stripping. My skin does not feel the least bit dry. Now that I am getting older even the Splash away is doing that. It has not caused any breakouts (I have dry skin prone to acne). I can't say that it has resolved the issue either, but it is not a product made for that purpose. It causes no redness or blotchiness - just clean.
I will be purchasing this full size in the future after I finish up my last tube of the other. At half the price of big brands, it is a real value and I actually like it better. It will last too since you don't need a whole lot. I will be using the mask and scrub as well. I hope they are just as good.
I was not as happy with the moisturizer, but I am using the shampoos and love them. Overall I am really happy with Giovanni products.

I'm sure this works fine but I wouldn't use it on slightly dry, sensitive skin. I used it twice but both times my face was dry and felt stretched tight.

I have used every Acne Product from neutrogena 'clean and clear "Cetaphil Cleansers" acne free kit ' ance.org acne kit 'I've used all aveeno products St.lves ' Burt's bees acne kit 'I tryed proactive ' oxy acne kit' exposed acne kit omg I tryed every thing .....this cleanser is the only thing that works for me

Fantastic product.
It deeply cleanses pore, yet very gentle to the skin. It keeps my facial skin so soft and supple. NO irritation/redness/over-drying/break out. You have to get used to its watery texture, however, now I love its smoothness when I apply it on my face. I love Giovanni products !!
I recommend this cleanser (and all D:tox line !!) for people who are looking for natural & deep cleansing products.
