For a while, drugstore.com didn't have the 6-pack, they had the 4-pack instead, and that is what you were shuffled into ordering. Now the 6-pack is back (woohoo!) and it's much more cost-effective to buy this than the other.
As for effectiveness of this product, I have been buying it for many many years, from back when the only way to get it was from overseas because it wasn't sold in the US. It lasts for many hours, the only way it doesn't stay on is if you are oily, sweaty or quite active, and why would anyone be active when they have a massive headache?
I've used these in the past (and continue to) for migraines. If I catch it early enough, it really helps reduce them. I've started to also use them to help with hot flashes. For me, they start in my head. I don't necessarily think it helps reduce them or anything, but it does help my head with the whole I-have-a-fever feeling that comes with them.

These gel migraine cooling sheets are awesome. They stay on your forehead and don't fall off. No tangling in your hair either. I can go to sleep with one on and it stays on and comes right off. The cooling gel lasts for many hours. Great product.

This works very well! My uses it for her migraines all the time. Just be sure not to wear makeup. It won't stick to her forehead when she forgets she applied in the morning! :)

I put one of these on my head every time I get a headache or migraine. The patch is cooling & soothing on a throbbing head! They're also great on the back of your neck. This is the best price I've found :)

i've had migraine headaches since i was in high school. this cooling patches are very helpful. i use them quite often, get eye strain from working on computer. sometimes put them on my eyes instead of forhead. it really works.

I've been using these for years when I have a severe migraine. Used in conjunction with aspirin, it really helps to zap the more stubborn migraines I get.
Beware, though: There used to be six in a box - now there are only four. I see the picture hasn't changed - but the last time I ordered this from drugstore.com, I received a box with only four sheets, not six as advertised.
