To use product, Make sure your hands are clean. Open box, remove one tube and open the top, which may be hard for someone elderly or that has arthritis in hands. Don't touch pellets in tube. Before taking, don't eat or drink anything 15 min before OR afterwards. Place pellets under tongue and let dissolve. They taste like sugar. I always make sure I have plenty of these as you take them at the very first onset of symptoms. So much easier to have on hand rather than to run out and shop when you're not feeling well. They will stop the flu in it's tracks if taken right away...but that is the key. ALSO, great to take before traveling. Start the day before and take two tubes. Then on day of travel take one tube every hour 2 hours before leaving, and every 3 hours while traveling. You'll likely go through the whole box, but it's worth it to not get sick. I find it works for the flu and on coming cold the best.

I love this product, but I inquired about this product with Google Shopping and they stated "The product Boiron Oscillococcinum is likely to be unapproved by regulatory authorities". Does anyone know why or if there are dangerous side effects?

This is a product to keep in the drawer of your bedside table. If you wake up with a fever and a sore throat, grab one! It dissolves inder the tongue, tastes good. You have to use this BEFORE you get really sick, so have it on hand.The frist 24 hours are the most imporatnt. This porduct will slow down the flu in its tracks.
Adults and children 2 years and over: Dissolve entire contents of one tube in the mouth every 6 hours, up to 3 times a day. Children under 2 years: Ask a doctor.
