I used it twice a day at first. Then I scaled back and use it occasionally to keep the condition from coming back. The cure is not immediate, but it gradually gets rid of the fungus. There does not appear to be much of an aroma which is neither here no there. Seems to work gently which is fine by me.

In all fairness to this products possible effectiveness, I rated it 3 stars. I found it entirely too greasy to use and the smell to be bad. I purchased based on the active ingredient, price and ounces. It might be a great product if cream based instead of ointment.

Product can be used daily for athlete's foot. Once it has cleared up I use it twice a week. I have found it is the best product for cracked dry skin. For the price it is the best.
Wash the affected area and dry thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of the product over affected area twice daily (morning and night) or as directed by a doctor. Supervise children in the use of this product. Pay special attention to spaces between the toes, wear well-fitting, ventilated shoes, and change shoes and socks at least once daily. Use daily for 4 weeks. If condition persists longer consult a doctor. This product is not effective on the scalp or nails.
