The brush end...Read complete review This brand is superior to other brush picks and interdental cleaners we have tried. They are slender enough for tightly spaced teeth and are not too inflexible like some other brands. The brush end is long enough so that these are the easiest picks to use. However, we find that the top often comes off by itself and the picks end up spilling out. Also, these used to come in a larger economy package that contained about 300 picks for almost the same price, plus it included a tiny travel-sized carrier - a MUCH better buy plus MUCH less plastic & cardboard wasted on the packaging! We consider this 100-pick size a real waste of plastic. There is far too much plastic packaging already that is ruining our environment and we want companies to start being mindful of this and create better packaging. Not only that but we were told by someone in the know that cardboard backing on products like this usually costs more than the product itself. We hesitate buying more of this package for that reason and prefer to wait till we can find the larger size. I keep several of these boxes around including one in my purse and one in the glove box of my car. I've tried several other brands and was disappointed - this brand is the best by far. Very convenient and I noticed a difference in my gum health since I began using these regularly. The brush does not go in between my teeth where they are crowded so I use the pick side.
