Rubbing alcohol is rubbing alcohol regardless of brand. Water content seems to be the main factor which determines effectiveness........less water 90% vs 70% means quicker evaporation, less time you have to spend waiting before getting back to work. I use it primarily to clean electronic parts but it's great for cleaning many items. Beware, it has the potential to damage surfaces as well.......test first. Drugstore.com sells it at a very reasonable price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
