I purchase Germ-X hand sanitizer on a regular basis. I use it mainly in the laundry room to clean my hands after working in the yard. I am pleased with the product. It is a large bottle and a good value for the price.

I've used this item for several years. I no longer like the bigger named brands including one I bought when I bought 4 of these last time. It comes across as perfumed..this does not. And the slight sometimes mellon scent quickly fades away after use. I use it in the Kitchen as a quick clean up. Have pets and once in a while there are PAW prints running across a counter...NO NO NO. A dab of this sanitizer on a paper towel cleans up the offense and everyone is happy. Of course our pets are not allowed on the counter...never...must have been the neighbors kitty who came to visit ours. UH HUH !!!! Use this in bathroom and around the house. Not just on hands but as a hard surface cleaner. More a hard surface cleaner. I even clean out the bathroom sink and wipe down the faucets around the house. Good at getting smeary grease marks up too.

I buy the large bottle and refill my smaller bottles including the wee ones that I carry with me when I'm on the go. I try not to use it a lot around the house but I like the advantage of feeling clean and hopefully germ-free while I'm out and about without the hastle of finding soap and water and using those unsanitary air dryers. I'm rarely ill with communicable colds and such and I give this stuff most of the credit.

I transfer the product into very small bottles and carry it wherever I go. It has the same ingredients as the more costly drugstore brands, and is much more economical. In the past, my local pharmacy carried it, but since they stopped, I am glad to see that Drugstore.com has it available. Yes, there a bit of an alcohol odor, but that's ingredient I'm purchasing it for. The odor dissipates when it dries. It can be drying (otherwise I'd give 5 stars, but that's what alcohol does, so just use some hand cream if you want to avoid that. It does the job and is well worth the price.
