Purex is a great price and cleans well. I don't usually have stains on my clothes so I can't say how well it would do on kids clothes that usually have a ton of stains, but for adults that are fairly clean and may get a few food or coffee stains on your clothes once in a while, this works really well and you can't beat the price. This will be my go to laundry detergent from now on.
I have used this product for since we got our front loading washer and dryer four months ago. I haven't noticed any suds at all, or any fragrance. Clothes come out clean and my husband's skin irritation has cleared up. I also use a hypoallergenic liquid laundry softener in the washer.
I have continued to use a stain remover when indicated.
I'm pleased with the Purell detergent and with its price.
Although it is labeled for he machines it makes too many suds and messes up the machine. Does not clean well compared to Tide. It almost doesn't clean at all.
For best results: Follow washing machine instructions for adding detergent. For regular loads, fill cap to level 1 (1.5 oz). Use more for heavily soiled or large loads.
