I used to buy a men's hair gel in a brown bottle that could run upwards to $13-$16 per bottle. The performance is practically the same. The smell is very pleasant and clearly masculine, but not at all overpowering.

Those contemplating the switch from the overpriced brown bottle: this isn't exactly the same, as the texture is a little different and you do have to get used to dipping in your fingers into the jar.

This is Pinaud-Clubman's lowest hold gel. But they have harder holding gels as well. Great product with a light scent that does'nt smell fruity or like chemicals.
