I just got a curly perm and needed some extra conditioning. I have been using this as my final conditioner after I shampoo with WEN cleaning conditioner and it really helps keep my hair soft and moist and easy to style. It does smell amazing too!

My hair is very dry and I have noticed a big difference using this conditioner with the shampoo as well. I wash my hair every other day and so far I have not noticed any build up either.

This conditioner is excellent. It leaves my hair moisturized and frizz free. It contains no silicone so the ingredients really penetrate. My hair is shoulder length, medium in texture and slightly wavy so dryness and frizz are always a problem. This conditioner has plenty of "slip" and therefore detangling is easy. It also smells wonderful, slightly floral with a hint of earthiness. I also use the raw shea butter shampoo and mask. With these three products my hair is frizz free, shiny and strong with no dryness, even on the ends. My husband also loves SM products. His hair is curly and coarse and these items leave his hair in great condition. We have switched to SM products and highly recommend them. This conditioner would probably be too heavy for fine hair but all other hair types could definitely benefit.

This product says it can be used as a leave-in or wash out conditioner. I have used only as a leave in and love the smell. It makes my hair soft and easy to manage at first but once dry it feels like i had put nothing in it. I have dry coarse curly hair and just wish it had more lasting moisture effects. I have added some olive oil to help with the moisture. This may work better for less coarse/less dry hair textures. I would recommend for others depending on your hair type but would not purchase again for myself.

This product is amazing. It adds shine,
luster and improves texture to dull, dry hair. I use it as a leave-in by applying a small amount to damp hair after washing.

I stumbled across this brand recently and I am obsessed with it! It smells amazing, works great, and is all natural - what more could ask for ?! I use it on my kids' hair (2 curly, 1 wavy) and on my own hair (long, very wavy to curly) and it's really wonderful. For the record, I'm also using the raw shea shampoo, and raw shea body lotion, and the coconut and hibiscus styling products. For the past 2 years I've been using an expensive salon-type brand but works at least as well, is cheaper AND all natural! YAY!

Let me start by saying this smells AMAZING! Makes my hair feel and look healthy and moisturized! I've tried a million different shampoo's and conditioners ranging from very cheap to outrageously expensive and none of them compare to this! I use with the SheaMoisture Shea Butter Shampoo and the SheaMoisture Yucca & Aloe Thickening Growth Milk. I used to have a HUGE problem with my hair breaking and falling out (like a handful of hair after washing would fall out- yikes!) and now that I've started using these products together I have almost no hair loss! I've seen some people say this makes their hair greasy- I normally have very dry hair and have not had a problem with this making my hair greasy. Also, it says you can leave this in as a leave in conditioner but that may cause your hair to become greasy. I've never tried using it like that only because I use to growth milk as a leave in. All in all you can't beat the price- especially on drugstore! I recommend ALL the SheaMoisture products to everyone! Huge fan right here!

This product smells great and it is rather thick. Whilst it strengthened my hair, it left it hard to detangle and not soft at all. I expected more moisture and softer texture. I am now mixing it with conditioners with more slip and avocado oil so that I don't waste the product.

I will start by saying that this product is too heavy for my type 3a curls. I have a LOT of hair, but the strands are fine. This product loosens my curls too much for my liking - HOWEVER, it completely healed my hair's low-porosity, dullness, and dryness issues. After using this conditioner with SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo only twice, my hair began to hold on to water/moisture the way it used to, making my hair products much more effective. I no longer have to wet/wash my hair every other day to re-do my curls. I have been able to limit my hair washing to once a week, and my once-dull locks (caused by harsh hair coloring) are starting to "glow" again with a healthy shine. I like to alternate how I use this product by mixing it with a lighter-weight conditioner, or using this alone, or switching to a lighter conditioner and then using this as a leave-in. I am so incredibly happy with the results!
